I will have more info for you guys later. If you read the previous info I posted, you will see that I stated that the TSB will not be released to the public until December 17th, 2007.

Most dealerships probably don't even know it's out there.

It only applies to salt belt states midwest and upper east coast. If they don't pu salt on the roads where you live you are not part of the bulletin. The pdf shows the highlighted states affected.

WTF spliced wiring with electrical tape from the factory? that's a sloppy wiring job by honda. Kinda suck knowing my car fall in between the faulty vin's.

What about those of us in the Rockies? Lots of "old-style" salt is still used out here. Additionally, CDOT loves to coat the roads with CaCl at the first sign of a snowflake.

Frick, and I just picked this car up on Saturday. I wonder if I should mention something to them about this when I get my rubber floor mats. Might as well since they got to install the floor mat hook things. Gotta check the vin # tommorrow just to be sure.

how is it that this only applies to certain states? couldn't someone in say New Mexico buy an 08 Fit and sell it 5 years later to me in Ohio and i'd be screwed? that just seems wrong to me. if they are going to suggest servicing it, it should apply to all cars affected. just my thoughts....
