After getting some serious stormage yesterday my FitS is clean but needs wheels washed. Rain needs to do a better job next time with some CarWash and boar's hair brush by Griot'sGarage. . Hahaha
Motored my G today after taking my son to school in my FitS. . Hope to motor my Z tomorrow... weather permitting...rest of the day I plan to relax on my throne for Father's Day, quite literally in my music room. Hahaha
Happy Father's Day to you fathers out there!

So much garbage we need to drive through in the am. Idiots on phones, super slow drivers in the left lane, etc.
I kinda cracked up when a saturn driver blew his horn at me while going through a 4way stop intersection. I was clearly there first yet he was in a rush to go first.
The irony is, agressive people do not drive saturns... Only those who missed out on opportunities in life who ended up in those cars. .

absolutely agree about Land of Opportunity!
its a good idea GM got rid of that brand... iconic for dull or doh, not good for the driver's psychology. even hyundai's and kia's are looking more and more like real cars these days. in fact, i was looking at a new benz large sedan when i thought i was looking at their genesis sedan. kinda impressed benz was copying off hyundai's.

drove my FitS through rain this am... another day with garbage on the road. this one was driving a late model suv super slow because it was raining...but in the LEFT lane....but it wasn't raining hard. everyone was annoyed. blowing his horn at everyone cutting him off. was actually comical and funny watching.
one recommendation for you folks who suck at driving... before you get shot or something from road rage, if you can't drive in the rain drive during the geezer hour (9am to 11am), call in sick cause no one needs a loser at work anyway, watch weather channel so you drive BEFORE rain, or just drive in the right lane and let others pass your slow arse. hahaha

Took the GE for a 400 mile road trip. Man I hate the AT on the car. Very sloppy and barely any sense of connection between the throttle and drivetrain. Also the donky paddles are crap as it turns with the steering wheel.
But the wife says the car is great and loves it... Okay then. Hahahaha

was nice driving my FitS to work this am since it was finally CLEAN.
but there's this one stupid bird that keeps landing on my passenger side window sill and mirror
while parked on my driveway. i need a way to kill it. any recommendations?
as you all know my saying... non-edible birds need to be removed from the planet.

as for a tip
non-lethal, but put an owl statue near your car; they supposedly scare other birds away, plus they're only a few bucks!

there was this one crazy woman driver this am in a FX. she was going at least 30-40mph over the speed limit in the 30mph zone. not sure what the hell her problem was but she nearly hit my car and a few others while cutting us all off just to get maybe 3-4 cars ahead of us. wtf
sorta wished she would've hit my passenger-side fender cause it needs to be replaced.

also re-did the steering wheel trim with the same CF sheet and new triangle door trim piece.
making the templates takes quite a bit of effort... but well worth it at the end.
top triangle trim on the door by the handle...
and steering wheel trim (volume up/down button piece)...
