so im looking at other dd's to get and i think ive narrowed it down to about 30 cars. jk

i think im going to either do a lightly used M45 (infiniti) or a new G37sedan (new bumper looks very nice), or a new TSX V6, or just drive my G35C to work (free!) and use the FitS as my grocer/homedepot/ikea shopper as before.

the other cheaper option... blah. not worth selling the FitS.

ive been noticing that the tirerack lugs i got with my TRMotosports wheels just last year is already rusting pretty bad from the salt...where as the lugs i got with the silver wheels from tirerack (forgot the name of the manufacture... i sound like my wife ) on the FitSW is still chrome.

looks like tirerack's been cutting costs on their lugs. i need to rotate the tires anyway come Spring, so i'll just get some new lugs, i suppose.

Hey Ken, I remember reading something somewhere in the many pages where you mentioned running a 10-15mm spacer in the rear with the stock GD wheels. Any advice on where to purchase said spacer and if different studs are needed?

Hi davela- no, that wasn't me but I was thinking about getting some Kics spacers. Those have studs built in so I just use the special nuts and tool that come with the spacers and torque it to about 80lbs/in.

I use them all the time on my G and they are very convenient, very well made. $150 or something for the pair. The centering rings cost like another $25 for the pair if you want that, but not required. I use the rings too.

I bought mine from some online shop a while ago so can't remember, but a lot of different stores have them.

Not much car action today. Got gas.

The car that is.

We're expecting like 10" of snow in the next day or so. Will be fun crashing my FitS into a tree or light pole.

Drove the GE again. Went to homedepot due to electric problems in the house. Took me a while to fix, but we are back in biz.

Hope you guys are having a nice Wed.

so every week my son has a letter in the alphabet to do a show and tell about. like last week it was "Q", so he brought a Quarter (coin) to class.

this week is "R."

I told him to bring a TOYOTA emblem.

not much car action either today... just too tired to do anything. good thing we got a 3 day weekend coming up.

i cut my hand on my pos notebook computer at work this am. first time this ever happened to me. i was brushing off some bread crums with my hand quickly, caught the sharp edges at the bottom of the keys and cut pretty deep on my ring and middle finger. wtf. at least the gash is not at the finger tips, rather the side of my fingers so it wont affect my piano playing.

will need to kick some arse when i see a ToSHITba employee next time.

Not much car action today. Just went to work and back. The clutch on the FitS shudders like hell. I'm thinking of complaining about it when the recall notice comes and get that fixed under warranty.

My oil life indicator now shows 5%... Still not warm enough for me to do the change. hahahaha
