can't wait to go home. has been a super busy week at work and need some time away. will promise to shut-off the bb as soon as i leave office and will not check any emails until Monday morning.

noticed a lot of my customers are off on Monday... thanksgiving in canada, columbus day in the US, even a national holiday in Japan. should be a nice way to start off the week.

as far as car things this weekend, if the roads are dry im going
to pull out my Z and G and go for a spin. will need to check weatherchannel how low the temps are going to be later on this month to decide when to change out the wheels on the GE and G.

Was playing the the HU yesterday with one of my kids (showing him one of his dvd's in the z in the garage) I was able to get those red keys more in-line with the Z's interior amber illumination using the pioneer's custom key color setting. it let you choose a color between amber and red.

Will take a snap of that later when I pull out the car for the morning drive.

well, yesterday i was waiting for the wife to get back from her errands while waiting at home with my younger kid. he was
taking his routine nap. i was suppose to pull out my G for a
drive late afternoon.

i waited and waited x10 and after 2hrs behind schedule she
comes home... was so pissed i took out the G for a nice
drive anyway and got home 2hrs late for dinner. hahaha.

Today was a f-edup day at work, but managed to get through it all and then some.

Was super glad I was driving my FitS home. I can't imagine how pissed id be if I had to drive something boring (like a Toyota or some shit) after that crappage today. Hahaha.

Going to wash the FitS's this weekend and touchup any chips to prep for winter.

just got back... man was a long day. well, it was real short, actually since it was
so busy.

not much car things today other than motoring the FitS home. which was nice.
not sure why i sometimes get those jolty shift days after almost 16k miles driving the
car. hahaha. was a smooth ride on the way home.

there was one of those new xB's driving in front of me. looked kinda nice. reminded
me of the Element SC.

this am was another crappy shift day on the FitS. hahaha.
had to get up REAL early to get to a meeting.

something with the amount of sleep i get vs how crappy i shift.
by the 15th min i was pretty much wide awake so things were
smooth again but the first 5min was pretty bad. hahaha.

on another note, dyson is releasing a new fan... looks pretty
cool. might get one for the garage to dry the cars after a
wash.

today went by in a flash... lots of crappage, lots of headache at work, but a pretty smooth landing.

was glad to motor my FitS home.

so i noticed that i was getting kinda low on taps and connectors for wires to do
electric installs so ordered up 100pcs of each...butt connectors, spade connectors
both M and F, new heavy duty ratcheting crimper, large and small zip ties.

so much cheaper to get online vs local autoparts store... same price yet i got 5x
the qty. this will keep me running for a while.

so lately ive gotten kinda tired of my G making a lot of noise at WOT from the JWT intake... so i took it off along with the 350Z intake tube. this will quiet down the car back to stock.

i donno, something with my age probably. i like things quieter now. not so quiet as boring quiet, but i want the sound to be smooth and linear. not a purrrr then ROOOOARRRR!!! hahaha.

TOOL- hahaha, that's funny. . Maybe its not age related or you're very mature for your age! .

Thing is you can floor the car without creating attention.

I'm also thinking about taking off the megan axle-back on my FitS and going back to stock.

Tanuki- which intake is that? Since my Z is pretty quiet even with the JWT intake I think I want to get a nicer one..like a HKS. I don't feel like doing the long tubes.

I'm going to keep the exhaust stock for now. Sounds good with the intake.

The intake is ARC, supposedly 40 hp for the 370 according to one of the forums. I couldn't find a retailer though.

Try the Tanabe or the HKS for the Fit nice but, not obnoxious. Since shipping is so crazy to Hawaii I just had a borla 2" in out welded on with a nice chrome turn down (looks stock) hardly noticeable (sound wise) too.

ARC, huh? Sounds expensive. The ARC titanium front strut bar on my G was like $850+ shipping on sale. Lol

That sealed box is a good idea. But the HKS suction reloaded is probably more inline with what I'm looking for.

Like the JWT intake's cone, I like how the HKS can suction straight from the front, not from the sides of the cone. There are large inlet ducts just forward of where the cones are on the Z.
