The heat and humidity + A/C is robbing the 4cyl's power. Hahahaha. . I'm glad I have MT. must feel real slow driving the AT especially during take off.

Will find out how much its affecting my 09 AT later in the week.

sounds like you need a Weapon R street header.....power from the start with no added sound so far not to affected by Hawaiian heat hey, it's like +90% humidity now.

BTW I bought a GT Spec shift knob today I couldn't stand the low offset ball too ugly plus the plastic cap keeps rattling when you shift.

Huh, that's pretty impressive if unaffected by heat and high humidity.

Hahaha, I know the feeling when you don't have 'the right' shift knob. Hope your new one has a longer work term. hahaha

Yeah, I guess I have nothing to compare it to. It's always hot in Hawaii and my A/C is always on. Coolest it gets is in the high 50s in the dead of winter and I still run the A/C so the windows don't fog. Humidity still in the 80s. But, the header did make driving a whole lot more enjoyable. (no pre vtec lag)

yah, considering we get -15F in the winter time super dry i think i am spoiled to have such dry cold air to drive my FitS in. dramatic difference in power between winter and summer. the best performance is in Fall/Spring just before we get the winterized gas yet nice and cool/cold.

hey, my 2 boxes of Griot's goodies are now on its way to me. ordered quite a bit of detailing stuff.

got my griot's stuff today. actually, it wasn't that much stuff.

in the box i finally got a hold of their latest car duster so hopefully this weekend i'll give it a try. my interior duster was getting pretty saturated (about 9yrs old now) so got it as a replacement. ive tried washing my previous one in cold water per california duster's instructions, but the threads got too brittle afterwards. so decided not to wash and just toss it at the end of its life.

so i ordered another synth for my music room today.
i should have it in my FitS tomorrow morning.
ouch, my wallet has a big hole.

im glad my FitS is so convenient with ample cargo space.
the keyboard is somewhat smaller than the
one i already have in my music room, but it comes in
a big box so utility is always welcome for us music
hobbiests to carry our gear.

i kinda cracked up when i saw a youngling in a new
Cooper-S with a Zildjan (sp?) sticker on his car. have
fun carrying a drum kit in THAT car.

looking forward to my drive home.

Yah, I also like Rock with You. Infact, my wife has his "best" CD collection somewhere.

Man it's going to be another hot day today. Taking the FitSW (09 AT) for a long drive tomorrow with the wife, no kids.

week next week for me cause 7/3's also off.

hey my keyboard came in. so much smaller than the one i
lugged back back in Dec on my FitS. i think i can easily place
it in with only one rear seat folded.

Really... What do you do for a living?

I'm pretty much on my bb 24/7 so even during holidays and weekends I check email periodically.

I don't take calls though.

Drove my FitSW 188miles straight today.
Got stuck in Friday traffic so took me 4+hrs.

I have to say the car did pretty well, but I really needed to pee starting about 100miles into the trip. Hahahaha

Anyway the only issues I had with the car was yet again pedal position (too close to the seat, car made for people with short legs) and getting tossed around in crosswind.

But I used cruise 90% of the trip so as soon as traffic cleared up I just adjusted my speeds with the buttons. It wasn't too bad then.

I noticed that about you and your fast response time. I'm a shiatsu therapist helping people with their aches and pains.

2 best bang for the buck mods so far for me. WR street header and the Tanabe lower arm bar to take away the wiggles and a more positive steering response.

That sounds good. I could use some relaxation massage for the brain. hahahaha

Btw, been getting some good comments about my cheezo TR wheels on my FitS.
I have to say they look perfect on my SSM.
