so i had tacobell yesterday and today i had some real taco's at a mexican restaurant with a few of our key clients. taco fever this week.

and got my new wingtip for my cooper-s so i installed it tonight as well. it's a little attachment that goes on at the tip of the aero kit rear wing. wat it does is it breaksup the vortex aft of the hatch so tremendously reduces dust buildup on the rear glass and hatch. cool stuff. can't wait to try it tomorrow.
that is awesome ken, i was always so mad htat the boot of hte MINI got so dirty, man seirously i miss that car so much!!

yah, it's at least 50% less dust in the back. i tested it today while driving in the
rain to see how much crap would end up on the rear glass and hatch. it wasn't
filthy like before. just used some Griot's SprayOn CarWash and cleaned it off.

here's wat it looks like. it's just a 2" tip at the top of the wing.

here's wat my G looks like with Griot's Best of Show and SprayOn wax.

Carnauba wax FTW!!!

Yah, mine is a MY04.5... The very last model that came with the factory Brembo's.

So last night, I went out for some Chinese and the drive to and back was just awesome. And this was in my FitS.

hopefully this weekend i'll get some picts up for my FitS and FitSW. i washed it last time but didnt get a chance to paintseal yet, so hopefully on Sat, weather permitting, i'll finally get to do that.

i need to check if i still have the firmer clay left from last time. im getting ready to place an order for another lump. i still have a decent chunk of Griot's clay left but it's too soft for dd's (takes too many passes to get the usual contaminants off...was made for garage queens). i think im going to get Megiuar's blue.

here's a snap of my bench.

Sorry to my friends at GM.

Its sad to see this cause they have some nice bread and butter products lately (G8, CTS, Malibu to name a few, and the current Vette is real nice).

Hope they make a speedy recovery.

so, father's day is around the corner... for you father's out there,
wat are you guys leaving open (catalogs) on the coffee table
pointing out a great solution for all the f-day headaches?

my CD player died several months ago so im thinking a nice
CD player might work.... but i dont want them spending too
much $ so going to ask for a cheap one that can still play
CDR's and MP3's.

if that doesnt work out, i suppose i will ask for a $6K electric
piano (V-Piano) to accomondate my FantomG8 in my music
room. hey, asking is free, right?

was over at amazon to buy some meg blue clay (soft). found a review where someone thought the entire jar was filled with clay. LOL!!!

the BIGGEST chunk of clay ive bought was Griot's. they give you a huge chunk.
but their clay is supersoft so only good on garage queens.

(here's the review, copied from amazon)
What you see is NOT what you get
I love the product, that is not the problem. The packaging is the problem. You think by looking at the photo of the jar that you are getting the jar full of detailing clay, right? No. It's ONE bar, in a large jar. You can get two smaller bars plus the detailing spray, a microfiber cloth and wax for $20 at any auto supply place. This is NOT a good value.
