Could be worse...you could be dealing with Fit owners that think there's not a greater car. LOL
Other than a couple grand more money, can anyone here in our little corner of FitFreak think of anything not better about the Civic 1.5t Hatchback compared to the Fit? Civic handles better, rides smoother, is quieter, gets better mileage, is faster, has more interior room. Guess the Fit wins for ease of parking and...

But besides that what about an Impreza? I'm usually not a huge Toyota guy...but this article was a fun read.

can’t do dis on fwd nor rwd. all weather performance dry or wet. i’ve not missed da GTI one bit. best decision evAr!!

Chiseled the built up pollen and tree sap off the neighbors HR-V this morning.
Man...cars that sit outside unwashed in the woods sure get filthy! We are also in the woods and the Lincoln and Golf sit outside, but I wash them weekly so no build up.
shinjari, excellent points about the Fit! Those are some good additional things to like about the Fit vs almost any other car. The magic seats are amazing!
I know that this wouldn't be a popular opinion in most car crowds, but wow! That Corolla Wagon is SHARP! I have a soft spot for wagon's anyways, but the styling on that look great! I'm sure that, being Toyota, there won't be any usable drivetrain options though. Betting it will be anemic 4-cylinder paired with an auto. Most likely a CVT.
kenchan - awesome on the WRX! Nothing better than feeling good about a big purchase.

The article says we aren't getting the wagon at all. Doesn't show up on Toyota's Site as a future vehicle either.
We get the hatch, but not the wagon. Can't say I'd buy it because of the anemic N/A 4-cylinder, but I do like the looks of the wagon. Just needs a turbo

You guys are confusing the Hatch and the wagon.
The iM hatch is available stateside, but the article is specifically talking about the wagon which is larger. I'd be all about that wagon (same boat as GAFIT with a severe liking for wagons).
Also this morning I was getting onto the on ramp to work....its a right hand turn at a light, then a slight left about 100 feet after the turn. I was able to break traction in 3rd and get the VSA flashing...and I wasnt even WOT...
I'm gonna chalk that up to the aggressive setting on the Ktuner and all-seasons. Next set will be better compound tires.

no idea shinjari. no interest in corollas to begin with. sounds good on the wheel chirp. my GTI would smoke the S04 tires if i wasn’t careful with the over 300ftlbs torque it had. fun while it didn’t wheel spin but annoying as hell when it did.

alright got home checked and added 2 psi to my STI and R. also dressed da tires on my WRX.. car is dirty but it can make the car look not so dirty. will wash over the weekend.
so on da way home in my WRX i was driving kinda spiritedly minding my own biz, found an opening in traffic and opened her up real nice to speed limit and backed off. felt and sounded good.. but den some confused kid in a IS250 behind me did a ricor flyby like 5 sec later and cut me off like i was supposed to be racing him or something. lol an IS250 of all cars.. so faktarded it was kinda funny. fak my GK is faster dan a pos IS250 probably.

At VW dealer getting oil changed. They said it’s due for brake fluid change and alignment for $350ish. Yeah...no thanks.
I get alignments when when I buy tires unless I see abnormal wear and I do brake fluid based on age, not miles. 1 yo car doesn’t need new brake fluid IMO.
They said 40k service calls for spark plugs. I’ll order a set and change them myself.
These are are definitely not like Jap or US cars when it comes to maintenance.
