Compact SUV
Someone mentioned a Ford Escape
that being said
wifey wants to move up in size of vehicle from her newish Mazda 3
if I may ask what compact SUV do y’all think has great “roominess” and gas consumption

I really like the Lincoln MKC 2.3 EB. I've driven a few and they are nice in every way.
Here's an example of how they run...
Crazy thing is they can be picked up used for a good deal.
Lincolns are way undervalued in the used market. If you pick the right model, you get legitimate performance and luxury for a good deal.

one more offsite meeting this am and heading home this pm.
while waiting for cobb to release the stage1+ for the 2019 and letting other folks field test it a couple months (lol) decided to get an aem intake to balance out the muffler delete noise. should be in hands tomorrow. (can’t use just the cobb intake on stock map as the maf position is modified).

We were looking at the Hyundai Tucson. That thing was pretty roomy, drove well and gets 30+mpg highway.
I tried to get her to look at the CX5 due to it being one of the top rated but she just doesnt care for it. To each their own.
She reall yliked the Subaru XV/crosstek, but just not enough interior room for what we want. Its basically a lifted impreza.
Yeah yeah you got a cool car and cool architecture. We get it mike410b!
Hope you read the jealousy between the lines there haha.
Hey Kenchan, did you end up doing that brake flush with your kid?
I was thinking I need to do a flush on the Hyundai...what was the extractor you got?
I'm used to an older method and wanted to look into updated procedures.
Happy Thursday everyone!

Might have to take a pretty big break from the S2000 if I'm able to get into grad school, so enjoying it as much as I can while I can.

I'm thinking a lot of those Lincoln MKC's may be lease returns. Not a bad way get a nice SUV at a far better price than new. If that is what kind of SUV you'd want.
Tuning your new car is a good way to blow up the warranty. How is Subaru about modded cars? I know with a VW a tune = no warranty. At least for the drive-train.

i honestly don’t care about warranty. i’ve already modded my Golf-R last year within 1k of ownership.
basically gotta pay to play. or just drive stock. engine blows up, i’m okay to buy a new engine if oem don’t want to cover it. i’ll pay it
aem’s intake is safe for stock WRX. i’ve not read one complaint since its release in 2015 their intake causing problems running stock tune with 93 octane. can’t run it with ots tunes though.. i’m going to get the cobb accessport and their intake when it’s time.

That being said, I do care about the warranty for the rest of the vehicle and we are protected there. I want my A/C, power equipment, infotainment system, etc all covered. Those seem to be the items that fail and the items that I don't want to deal with.
