csi, pedal adjuster, tint.. ktune(?)
how much are ktuners new? wat other flash or piggybacks do u guys recommend? just cking pricing overall.
i do like da csi’s braking at 104ft from 60. dat is exactly where it needs to be for me. i can’t believe i’m talking about a civic dis late in my life but it’s really for my kids to use so..

I can see that. I guess the black and red are the most traditional of the options.
After seeing the blue in person, I think I'd go with it even though it's more of a Subaru color.
Really, I think the coupe looks pretty good regardless of color. I'm trying to convince myself that the sedan looks good, but I'm not there yet.

well as far as looks i think we can all agree dat shinjari’z civic hb looks da best out of all civics ctr included. da color combo, aero and all.
on a coupe i think i’m going with black as black with red is kinda my GTI theme.
yah dat blue is nice and was going with dat color if brz Ts. but da one i was looking at already sold. lol

i need to test da stereo in da csi too. dat is one hell of a stereo in da GTI so don’t want to downgrade audio too much too.. and no LED headlight option nor adaptive headlights on da si?

yah definitely mang. i’m okay to pay more if honda had more options but dey don’t. dat is wat i was complaining about earlier dat dey are behind GTIs. i mean i’m getting rid of an autobahn GTI.. it’s a HUGE downgrade to go csi.. srower, cheesy looking interior cloth only, halogen headlights wtf?! etc

In that regard, I completely agree!
Honda is not a feature type company. Even a loaded Acura is missing stuff that was standard in my 5yo Lincoln.
For amenities, you pretty much have to go German or American.

Yeah you get LSD, custom damper suspension, stiffer suspension all around, front seats are super comfy with nice bolstering, sunroof, honda infotainment/apple play/android auto. The LED headlights from the touring are plug and play if I recall...but honestly aren't much better for light output. But definitely look nicer.
5x114.3, dont recall bore size. 235/40/18 all seasons (summer tires optional).
CSi is likely as fast as the GTI imo.
Totally agree on the cloth...not my favorite at all. Luckily I got Katzkin leather upgrade, worth every penny.

Using Motor Trend for both numbers, the GTI is about 1 second faster in the quarter than the CSi.
That may not sound like much if you don't go to the track, but that's two different categories of cars practically. 1 second means the GTI would be near 10 car lengths ahead of the CSi. That's not even close.
Road course would be a different story. The 10th gen Civics are supposed to be excellent in the twisties.

Heck, I even have time slips from my SuperDuty diesel and it beat the magazine times for your S2000

I have to add that the numbers do directly relate to how a car is to drive daily as well for most people.
The torque and power of the GTI make them super easy to perform simple things. True for the CSi as well, just not as much.
Everyone's completely different though. I know you find your Fit to have plenty of power, but there is a reason why 90% of cars are faster. Most people aren't satisfied with the acceleration ability of a Fit.
As an everyday example, my retirement age Mom drives a Fit. She loves the convenience, maneuverability, etc, but it's highly unlikely she'll buy another. She's looking at the Civic because the Fit in her words is "too pokey."
Everyone's got different tastes. Makes the world go round.

again i don’t drive track so track times and results are only for magazine spec racers. real world is wat matters to me.

shinjari, any idea what the tuned, exhaust, etc Si guys are running in the quarter? Just saw a white Si sedan. They aren't ugly. Just not near as good looking as the hatch or coupe.
Ash, that was hilarious!
