Yeah the part is in transit and they do priority 2-day so thats nice.
Looking forward to the install on a weeknight...or weekend. Should take about an hour. Maybe i should order a panel removal tool kit so I don't mar my interior.
Washed and vacuumed both miata and civic. nice overcast day for it. Ran some errands. Gonna play some video games for a bit...then maybe back to garage to work on chairs or backyard. MAYBE haha.
And of course when I need to get the miata Smogged...that stupid intermittent CEL popped up today. Gotta make sure it goes away before I can pass smog...so annoying. Glad I didnt try to get it done today. Would've been a waste of time.

alright motored my R this am and had a good time. so smooth, so relaxing, so easy to go fast.
pulled out my griot's waterless wash (spray on car wash) and first cleaned the dirty part of the car and den went over the entire car with qd (speed shine) afterwards. the new towels i got from autogeek are fantastic, no lint. i shouldnt even be excited as dat is how it supposed to be all the time. just stay away from griot's mf towels. their older sets were very good but the recent ones lint like hell.
i got the gray chinlada or chichilla or chingaro or chihuahua or watever it's called at autogeek. not super expensive, yet very good quality. will try on my black GTI in the future to see if it hazes or not. shouldnt though per the great reviews on the towels.

Happy Monday!
Expecting the last of my Acuity Instruments parts today for my Shifter upgrades. They did announce their FULL shifter replacement (can adjust throw, gate spacing, knob height etc)...but that's $400+...not sure I need something that fancy for a DD.
Apparently they make stuff for the GK with manual trans as well so thats cool.

sounds cool! but the honda MT shifter is arguably the best in the world.. does one need something even better..(?)
i mean the GD and GE’s shift knobs were garbage so dat needed to go but the shifter itself was pretty good.

They are pretty good, but can be improved by replacing the very compliant bushings and sloppy plastic parts which is what I'm doing.
A full shifter would basically take all the bolt ons I'm doing and give more adjustability. Plus its full metal vs the plastic so you'd expect things to be nice and rigid.
