well, the good news is that the roof guy came by this am to fix our roof....just in
time! so far no drips onto my G35C's trunk. wheew!
with all this rain it could've been pretty nasty if it wasn't for his fix. hahaha.
with all the ice and snow seems like our decade old house was starting to
show some wear.

thanx TOOL! yah, i checked again this am and
no drips or any wetness observed on the garage
ceiling. WHEEW!!!
but i have another problem... while i was connecting
my music gear to try some file transfer, i dropped
my wife's notebook(pc) last night and broke the
LCD. this is going to set me back another
$1K to get her a replacement
wtf is going on these last few weeks?
Month started out with BBS wheel damage.
Followed by leaky garage roof onto G35C.
Followed by FitS damaged in accident.
Now notebook damaged...
I want Feb to end NOW!

Yeah February has been a pretty rough month. I have managed to damage a couple things( nothing of mine but a bunch of my sisters stuff ) and it has been absolute hell at work ( in the ER ) also weather has been all kinds of crazy this month with warm spurts then sudden deep freeze and what was up with the thunderstorm/rainstorm/ice storm yesterday.....

fitcapo- yah, im super glad that Feb is now over.
the entire weekend i was at home to make sure i dont go
crashing my cars. actually, i didn't do any car stuff,
just checked up on the garage ceiling for leaks from time
to time. the leaks are fixed, it looks like
wife wanted to shop for some stuff (she's into shoes and
purses, handbags like any lady, i suppose. ) so i let her
go out while i looked after our kids. not a bad weekend.
i kicked off my music composition
yesterday 3/1. been just drilling chords/scales the since Nov
for this day. both hands are about 90% to about where i
was 7yrs ago as far as playing, so it's close enough.
already laid down some tracks, about 8 bars of arrangement
to go to complete my first piece. there seems to be a 'valve'
in my brain for composing music. since i hadn't use that part
of the brain for 7+yrs it was kinda tuff to open it up to come
up with material. it's starting to trickle now. hahaha
after i make 5-6 pieces i will upload them somewhere in mp3.

i play keyboards. i make instrumental music (mostly contemporary jazz/new age).
been away from playing for a long time so my hands were like rocks when i started
playing again in nov. i decided to practice and train my hands for the last 3months.
yesterday was the official kick-off day.
coming back to the FitS stuff, im thinking about trying out
that new made in china wheel at tirerack for my FitS. LOL
i forgot wat it was called, but with the s-drives comes out to
about $700. 15x7. TRMotor Sport something...

oh yah, been forgetting to post this for the longest time...
my FitS's clutch (MT) shudders on cold starts on humid days.
it reminded me of my old 02WRX i had. it goes away after
the plate heats up, but the first 4-5min on a cold/damp day
can get slighly annoying accelerating from a parking lot or
stop light. and no, it's not from my driving cause my other
2 cars are both MT and they do not shudder at all..nor did
the other MT's i had in the past (less 02wrx).

so it looks like Justin is no longer there at EnduraTech.
I hear his replacement's name is "Ken." dang... where have i heard his name before?
so this am coming to work i got some gas for the FitS. since
i haven't been doing any motoring on the weekends the last
time i pumped gas was a month ago. hahaha
$16/28 days =$0.57/day. now that's cheap.

TOOL- not yet, the Indy store is backordered on the S-Drive
tires until 3/12, so im going to wait until they get those and
have them mounted/balanced.
i dont feel like spending an extra $50+ to ship from their
other location when there's still snow on the ground here.
will keep you guys posted on how they are. i think they look
pretty good for wat they are...plus, if tirerack puts their
brand name on it, im sure it's pretty decent.

hey, my MasterLink is here. (it's a 40GB HD recorder/
CD Recorder with built-in DSP for mastering). comes at a perfect
time cause im almost done with my first piece.
going to practice burning some discs with it this week to
archive an old cassette tape first. my parents were nice enough
to record a few airings of my music at a local FM station back
in the days.

the good news for today (since it's March now, new month )
the guy that hit my poor FitS accepted the full terms of
the liability on the damage so i will get my deductible on
top of the full repair coverage.
march is a good month so far...

looks like we might be nearing the end of the snow
season... temps are starting to average 30F and higher
(well, sort of ....).
neway, was thinking about mounting my summer
wheels on my G35C this weekend. one reason is
because it's due to 'turn' the tires to prevent flat spots
on my stock wheelset... plus it's no longer Feb.

TOOL- im going with the same size i have now: 195/50/15's.
i like the quick response with smaller diameter. im not too
worried about gas milage since it's got great milage anyway.
are u going to get the same setup?
