If it weren't for fuel economy I'd have an RX8. I absolutely love those cars.

Tired here also! First day back to school for the boy. Just did the school run and was very thankful to have something like my Lincoln. 20 degrees outside, but the car was ready when I got to it. Steering wheel hot, seats hot, inside temp up to about 60 and climbing, satellite radio playing, etc. Makes for a mindless/relaxing trip despite being tired and frigid outside.

Car is back in the school/work rhythm. Now I just need to get there.

nice GAFIT! i could use heated steering wheel cause i take my gloves off as soon as get in the car. i dont want to spread salty mess all over my cabin..!

i forget which rental, maybe it was the escape, but it had heated steering wheel and it was nice. and it was only like 30F.. not even considered 'cold' for me. lol

"Friday" for me Day 3 at work and still not sure if I'm back in the groove of things.

Yeah I do like the oem wheels. maybe a drop will satisfy me enough. I do have a set of 15mm spacers to get "more flush" with the OEMs haha.

Showed the GF the 3d render and she said "wheres the hot tub?" LOL. I mentioned a hot tub as a joke...maybe not so much of a joke anymore?

yah, id just lower the ride (actually i would leave if stock) and maybe some spacers too. be a waste to spend on another set of 18's unless sticky tires for auto-x or something. .

yah, wish you can just 3D print your home creations huh?

Definitely needs a slight drop, especially if I'm doing the spacers. Its in Cross-over height, at least visually for me. Also sometimes I see those accord wagon crosstours and feel my hatch looks like its very angular little brother. Lol.

Mine...

random Crosstour

It would definitely look better lower and spacers wouldn't hurt

With California's laws, you'd probably get arrested for causing dust to fly into the air. LOL

Darn SMOG laws!

Yeah think if I did a slight drop and put my spacers on, it'd be golden. Only benefit of aftermarket wheels would be a different look, wider rim/stance and shave a few pounds of unsprung weight. OEMS are nearly 30lbs each where as aftermarket ones I've been looking at are 20-23lbs.

That is a significant difference in weight. I bet that would be noticeable!

It would be like adding bigger brakes, better suspension, more power, and better fuel economy all in one step. Maybe not big improvements, but improvements in many ways.

1" Eibach Pro-kit drop and 18x9.5 +35 on this type-r. Also happens to be the car that made me want the Titan-7 wheels or a similar style/color.

Yeah I figure the 10-20% weight savings on each corner would be nice...maybe I'll autoX this thing? But i have the Miata for that haha.

shinjari, that looks great!

Anyone know if there was ever a determination if the Metra or Scosche kit for the Fit is better? Pouring through posts, it appears they both suck, but we're stuck with one of the two AFAIK.

I'm thinking that the addition of apple car play, bluetooth, hands free calling, etc would greatly improve the driving experience of our old tech Fit. I've gotten so used to those things that driving the Fit makes me feel like it's the 80's again. Man...some tech just becomes so normal so fast.

that cross tour definitely needs a drop but your civic doesnt look lifted. i mean its up to you, but that civic with the prokit still has a good gap up front and a boat look rear.. aka the rear looks too low vs the front. hope swifts comes out with new springs for ya.

alright, need to head over to an offsite meeting in a bit.. tired and ready to take a nap.

happy friday!

alright on the menu today.. heading over to work in a relaxing drive in my GTI.. and start downloading the new iOS on my iphones i suppose. the company iPad has been running very well under 11.2 so im assuming it might be okay for my iphone7's. i wonder how its going to affect my wife's (my old) iphone6S.. will see. if it sucks then she can get the smaller iphone we saw at the applestore last month. will fit her purse better anyway.

so today im going to do a few tweaks on my work desk to rearrange a little to get it
perfect.. meaning i look like jake at statefarm today.

hope you all have a nice Friday
