Went to Discount Tire this morning & had the good folks there balance & install Lady Babs snow tires on her MINI. I love that place, in & out in 30 minutes. They are the family tire store with good reason.

Hopefully buying a Christmas gift for myself/the AP1 this Friday, we'll see how that goes.

i like my local discount tires too. they have the same hunter mounter and balancer as tirerack so no worries of getting my expensive wheels damaged..!

your wife has the clubman? nice. they had a chocolate brown color and black roof at one time i was wanting to get. never happened though. cant remember why i didnt get the car. maybe it was because it only had one rear door on one side or something and it was on the wrong side of the car when picking up/dropping off kids.

if i was going to get another FWD car today, itd be a GK with MT. and id buy it for my son to use and for me to play with in the winter months to run errands. honestly that trip i made to the supermarket in the snow the other day.. i honestly thought the drive was fun in the GK. and if it wasnt for the stupid CVT i wouldve probably been a happy clam as when i had the 12 GE MT. thing about the Fit is it shines when i dont want to go fast to run errands. its a true grocery getter car in a good and fun way.

i just dont have space to park another car right now.

Her's is Hot Chocolate with a matching roof & brown leather interior. She is thoroughly bonded with her car. The one rear door would be an issue if we had to have anyone ride in the back seat. Bet that has only happened half a dozen times in 5 years.

They say it is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. I believe there is truth to that.

hey thats the color!

yah, on the Fit at least, driving the slow car slow is more enjoyable. car does well as long as i dont push it. once i start pushing the car, it just disappoints me in so many ways.. but if its my kids car i wouldnt care.

We have all become spoiled by the HP cars deliver these days. Back when the earth was still cooling the SCCA kicked my Plymouth Fire Arrow out of the production car rally class. Why you ask, because it had so much HP. Geeze it had 105 HP, so over powered. LOL!

I always park as close to the door as possible.

Usually because that means an end spot.

Except when I drive the S2000, then I park next to all the executives in the fancy guy parking lot, still seeking an end spot but hoping that nobody wants to ding their $60k+ car on my cheap old Honda

alright got the RC driver figure partially painted. since the truck is red, i decided to paint his helmet yellow.. and also his driving gloves yellow to match.

now he looks like he's about to go clean the toilets with his yellow rubber work gloves.. lol.. my kid and i were cracking up when i mentioned dat since i always wear yellow rubber gloves while cleaning our bathrooms.. lol

wow, already thursday.. this wk is going by so fast.
no car action again today, basically a rubber stamp of yesterday.
few house chores, check work email, work on RC truck body, relax and listen to music.

a tad worried whether my GTI will start up tomorrow since it hasn't been started since last Friday and temps has been -7F to max 5F the last few days..

have a good thursday everyone!

it was -1F this am now around 10F. a little too cold to wash my GTI. haha
