Got the Clutch Masters kit today. Haven't unwrapped everything to inspect, but there's a pack of Mike & Ike candy shrunk wrapped inside. Pretty funny. Guess it's free with every $700 purchase. LOL
BTW...I agree about the disjointed look of the Fusion's dash, but I much prefer the driving dynamics of the Fusion vs. the Camry. It has a lower, wider, heavier feel to me. Feels more European vs the Japanese feeling of the Camry.
Granted, I've only driven higher trim level Fusions and Camry's. Don't know how rental versions would stack up.
Edit again...re-read what you said about the Camry and I agree that it's a great driving car. Heck, that whole class has gotten so much better. I rented a Chevy Malibu and was shocked that it even drove pretty well. The start/stop thing was highly annoying, but overall it drove pretty well. The Accord in comparison to the others is still just too loud inside. Everything else about the Accord is fine, but why is it so darn loud?

yep, ive rented the current gen malibu earlier this summer and it was 1000x better than the previous middled aged midwestern deli counter fat woman wearing a net car it was before.
the only issue i had with the current malibu was that the doors flinged open too easily and if there was a car parked closed next to it, guaranteed big ding.. so i never park next to a malibu.
yah, i honestly dont care about this class of cars, i hate sedans in general (less my STI ) but as a rental car, camry has been probably the best, followed by hyundai tucson. sad but true.
when i joked about getting an accord once, my wife asked if i had given up on life. blahahaha!

Ahhh...they downside to Harbor Freight. I love the store and love picking up random, may need someday, type stuff for cheap. But, darn their stuff doesn't last!
My aluminum race jack is about 15 years old. Sadly, I think I hurt it by using it to lift the front porch of my house. Yes, lifted the whole front porch! It survived lifting my 7400 lb Superduty, but it now has a dead spot in it's lift stroke from the porch endeavor.
Yours might be repairable. If you can't return it, may want to give it a good look over. Might have blown out a replaceable seal.

Hate to sound stupid, but do you have the valve closed? Some have a valve next to the handle and some use the handle to turn the valve.
If your type uses the handle, need to have the set screw tightened on the handle and then turn handle to the right before trying to lift.

Looks like a nice jack. Has good reviews. I bet it just needs to be bled. May have air in the cylinder. It also my have had a leak or been under-filled from the factory. You may need to pick up some hydraulic fluid.

saw a Golf-R on the way home while driving my GTI.. felt so jelly. those R's are so nice, wished i had one.
got home, hooked up the obd11 and turned off the soundactor on my R in prep for saturday's drive to see if that was confusing me with the howling i was hearing last week. i highly doubt it since my ears can tell timbre like my eyes see color, but worth a try since it only takes like 30sec to turn it off. my older kid who wanted to see thought it was so cool i can program so much stuff on the car with just my android tablet and the obd11 BT module.
then proceeded to swap out the factory carpet mats with the brand new weathertechs. so nice. perfect fit in my R front and rear.. then moved onto to my STI to swap out the factory carpet mats with husky's.. so fugly, flimsy and cheap looking. i hate it! im shopping for weathertechs right now for my STI. haha

Wish you posted pics! I'd like to see those Weathertechs in the R. They have to be the only plastic floor mat that is actually good looking.
Ever try that WeatherTech mat cleaner? I always just soap and water mine. Sometimes hit them with 303 if I'm feeling ambitious.

and unlike the ones that are connected in the middle for the rears, they are a separate piece (how i like it). soooo nice. i prefer carpet mats but in the winter, i just hate getting salt stains on the carpeting around the mats so weathertech it is.
ive not tried the weathertech cleaner, i just use Prima Nero (50/50 diluted) in the spring after i give it a thorough wash to kinda nourish the plastic. yah, 303 is a great product too, i use it like almost 40:60 water. if you dont like it slippery i suggest you do wat ure doing now.. just soap and water.
