Fit is a good car to practice on, i think. it's very simple.
I did it myself. it took forever, and we made a few mistakes but in the end we worked everything out and got them dialed in. Love them!

nice~! yep, you get better and better by building experience.

stopped by homedepot to pickup that dewalt pivoting driver bit holder
universal thingie. looks good, only $14 with tax and it comes with
a lot of bits. very cool.

while i was there, i also checked out milwaukee's subcompact 12v
driver only to find that it's only like an 1" smaller than my compact 18v
so not worth it. i think the 2 adapters will do me well.

also went to this ebay store to order my 18v lamp. its HELLS cheaper
than amazon. their service has been very quick so far... if the product
arrives on-time and in good shape, i might place the impact driver order
with them.

Very playful.

So I've been seeing more and more Fits in my area. I'm glad mine's modded. Although the stock shape looks acceptable, just lowering it a tad and giving it some wheels just transforms the car.

Any opinions?
Stock Fits look ok. I mean i like them but modded they get alot better.
I think the lower you go the better the Fit looks haha.

hahaha. yah, that's very true for most cars, actually.

i haven't set my EnduraTech's that low cause i want to maintain
max drivability and utility...but heck if i had no snow here and
can drive around without scraping much, i would drop the car
another 1" .

there are so many stupid dips and humps around here that i
dont want to go too low on my dd.

a tad off topic, but wat do you guys think as far as my future hobby car?

Nissan 370Z or Audi TT-S?

If all fails, i think im going to do the 335i coupe... hahaha.

this next car will be replacing my G35C in the next year or so.
i think the natural stepup would be the 335i coupe, but i kinda
want a 2 seater for fun. TT-S only comes with DSG... which kinda
sucks for me cause i prefer MT. but i'll have the FitS so might work
out.

i think im leaning more towards the 370Z now after checking out some vids.

but it probably wont happen for alteast another year. my G's only got 23K miles
and no scuffs/scratches. virtually new condition. still luv the car like the first
day i drove her home.

i would go with the 370z. Although i like audi a lot, the tt has never quite been a drivers car. Its not rwd, and if you get awd, it just understeers (like the fit ) Besides, it costs 40-50k, whereas the 370 should be priced in the low 30s.

From the reviews/vids i've seen so far, it looks like the 370z is going to be the best 2d rwd coupe on the market.

tough choice between the 370z and the 335i coupe though......

yah, that's one thing luv/hate about the quattro on the TT-S... im
sure for most people that dont care about the driving aspect as much
as me and only have one car to do mostly everything and a
wife/husband's MINIVAN/SUV for the rest, it's nice to have.

i think i will get bored of the TT-S in matter of weeks unless i run the
TT-S specifically for night time driving and taking out the wife to dinner.
but $55k (after options and tax) for just that is too rich for my blood.

that exhaust note is killer on the 370Z's... sooooo nice. where as
the TT-S, reviews say the exhaust note isn't anything to be proud of.
i think im going to keep a close eye on the 370Z.

today im off work so im going to swap out the springs on my G to
eibachs. hope it loweres the ride just a tad more than my TEIN's.

135i. hah.
Its seriously a great mix of a small sized sports car, yet is has 4 seats! And the thing hauls ass.
When i get out of school and start working full time, i plan on trading the Fit for a 135i with sport package. 36K$. Bargain for such a car.

hahaha, cROTA's huh? hahahaha. the stock wheels look pretty
good.

didnt do any motoring on the FitS today.... pretty much worked in
the garage all morning, pulled out my G for a nice test drive early
afternoon. then traffic was pretty bad so just went home and
cleaned my garage afterwards. still need to do some more
cleaning tomorrow. that 18v lamp i posted above came in real
handy too. the switch on that thing is a pos, but otherwise very
rugged and put it to good use today. charge lasted maybe 4hrs
tops.

might wash the FitS tomorrow as well.

^^ yah, actually that's the vid i was checking out yesterday.
nice exhaust note.

im not sure why they included auto-rev match on a MT as an option...lol
if one sucks at MT (heel and toe) they suck at MT is the way it should be.
should be a driver's car, get an AT if you cant drive stick. lol

so yesterday i was taking some picts after the suspension work and
noticed how the red stabel airhorn was peeking through the front grill.

i didn't notice till now cause each time i was taking picts and looking
at the car, the sun was pretty high...

so after my drive this am, went ahead and removed and painted the
airhorn matteblack.... paint's still wet.

finished product. nice and matte black. completely hidden behind the
grill now. looks sooooo much better. (grill's removed in this pict).

honestly i didnt do anything special last night. lol was just a
typical thurs night. my in-laws were kinda tired already from
watching after my kids during the week. hahaha. and they are also
heading off to cancun this weekend i let them go. was planning
to invite them for sushi, but oh well. my parents are 5k miles away.

anyway, last night i put my stock steering wheel back on my G due
to the quick steering response the eibachs are giving me on the car.
due to the 40lbs/in lower spring rate the front bias is slightly exaggerated
from my previous TEIN springs and makes it easier for the rear to step
out while running the stock tires. im sure with my summer 275/35/19
S03's it will be fine, but swapping steering wheels only takes like 15min
so who cares.

going to motor my G again this morning...hope blackfriday early bird
shoppers are back in their nests by now... (wishful thinking).

hope you guys had a nice thanksgiving.

here's my G munching on some snack before re-hibernation this morning.

as you can't see in the pict, no more visible stabel red horn through the
grill.
