the drive home was so filled with faking stupid dumbarse garbages it was literally testing my nerves.

the drive home was kinda light and enjoyable today for a change. only got clogged up briefly and the rest was smooth.. i dont think i even had to stop at a light after getting off the expressway. was very welcome after a long day at work.

cleaned up a lot of the tools and left over bits from the wife's furniture project today.
im happy to see my milwaukee back in my garage.

I don't understand why someone would pull on a plant in general.

so i have this storage area in my basement where i keep my car bits and wheel sets. i was looking through the shelves today to see wat i could toss out and there were A LOT of stuff i hadn't use in years and parts from previous cars like springs and camber arms and stuff.

tossed it all out. my goal is to clean up the area and make more room for the rc track.

took the wife out for lunch in the GK and did some shopping on the way home. GK handled the cargo like a champ.

weather is holding up so pulling out my STI for a nice drive this am. havent driven with the new JDM arm rest extension my wife got me so will be testing that out.

afterwards going to be washing my GTI.. my older kid who had absolutely zero interest in cars recently started showing interest so he wants to watch how i wash my cars. there are several tricks up my sleeve on how to properly wash a black car in direct sunlight without leaving water stains or spots. of course before i had this busy lifestyle id wait until the late afternoon and wash the car when the car was in the shade.. but no time for that now. i wash when i can and laundry the mitt and towels immediately after.

have a great sunday everyone!

motored the STI had a blast. and washed the GTI. kid had a lot of questions so we spent a good hour going over the engine bay of my R, how turbo works, cooling system, electronic system, yada yada.

he asked why i bought the STI and R vs the Focus RS... asked if i am getting the TypeR, etc. lots of good questions.

An idea for both you & your son. Buy a cheap old lawnmower engine & help him take it apart & reassemble it back to running condition. He will learn a lot & he will probably enjoy doing it.

My Dad did that with me so many years ago. My Dad has been gone many years & it is still a fond memory. Learned a lot, intake, compression, power exhaust. Air, fuel & spark.
