Yah I'd keep ur fit for the time being. Maybe find a Mk7 GTI or something for cheap as vw is coming out with a refresh for 2018.
Yah I sold the Z. my R replaced it and it was a great decision.

Wow that cheepo galaxy tablet I got is a major take me back to 2009. Lol I'm so use to the iOS screens that this crappy LCD is like sad! not that it matters for doing diagnostics and programming!
Will give it a shot on my R this am.

Got the obd11 setup running and programmed the GTI to fully disable traction control at launch. Very cool, now the GTI is even faster. definitely going to tune the turbo psi up another notch now.
Going to work on the R this am, similar setup, and pull her out for a spin.
Also going to program the auto door unlock features.

very cool, programmed my R as well using the obd11 today. WOOT!
really liking this device.. everyone with a GTI/R should get this thing.. obd11 + i got lazy and just bought 500 credits ($35) online too so that i dont have to worry about looking at dumb ads to collect more credits to do the changes if by their app. i also use the control units and change per the adaptations so no cost this way.
so in total about 200 for everything. super cheap compared to vag-com... and no need for laptop or any cords.

k, ran over my iphone with my GTI. WTF.. after having a nice drive in my R, QD'ed the car and afterwards washed my GTI. that part was good.
anyway, after the wash decided to clean the inner windshield since the bond has cured completely.. the phone must've slipped out of my pocket during that time cause i dont know when it ended up under my car. my garden hose was near the car so it must've bounced off that and landed in the path of the tire without making much sound. neighbors had some loud machines running so i didnt hear anything hitting the ground.
i looked for my phone everywhere but couldn't find it. decided to park my GTI in the usual spot on my driveway and crunch..
1.5 yrs without a skin and had absolutely no scratch... that's how well i take care of my phones. getting a new one with bigger memory today.. have to pay full price. shittt happens mang.
while the housing was bent and glass shattered, at least the phone still worked, i was able to do a final back up today.

Sucks about the phone, cool about the obd11 features.
Yeah I'd like the Audi, but gotta sell the Fit in order to justify it. Not sure I'll sell the Fit for what I want before he can find a buyer.
Drove the Fit over the weekend, still a fun car...but the A4 was just more refined. Still not used to the turbo lag/pedal response on the A4 though.

alright, everything is back to normal like nothing happened. besides a dent in my wallet.. gotta pay to play.. or carplay in this case.
iphone6S was nice but iphone7 is so much faster in performance and battery lasts so much longer.

Iphone6S worked fine but iphone7 is smoother and less buggy when switching between internet radio apps.

not a good apple week for me this week. i noticed my ipod touch 6th gen is swollen in the middle which probably means the battery is bad.
i have to take it into the apple store to get it looked at. luckily it is barely but still under warranty so should be a free repair / replace.

shittola, spilled coke classic on my GTI's seat when i got home. i was pulling out an empty can from the cup holder and it slipped out of my hand. WTF..
being the car guy i am, before it got soaked up into the stitching i sat on the faking coke and soaked it up with my dress pants. lol i looked like i had an accident between my crack had my kid bring a drenched mf towel to wipe off, then after i changed cleaned it off with Griot's Leather Care spray.
now i need to take my dress pants to the dry cleaner.. at least i was only wearing my ralph lauren and not my canali today..
