Yeah I heard the same thing. They released the 1st sk2 during their 50th anniversary....and next year is their 70th....so maybe the rumors are true?
I wish it was still all motor though instead of a turbo. But thats just me.

thing with the GTI is my gen (mk7) has LSD so it turns very well even more so dan the Fit with about double da power applied.. its a crazy little machine.. then out of the corner i got over 300ft/lbs of torque pulling da little machine with a super quick DSG gearbox so most cars in this 250-300hp range would be left in da dust. even my STI and 370Z would probably struggle keeping up.
having said dat, the new s2k will need to be very good.. otherwise i think im just going to abandon da 2 seater RWD platforms and go deeper into AWD.. AWD is just simply easier to control and no messing with wheel spin is a good thing off the da line.

yah, i got the perrin bracket on order.
if u do the GE, definitely use a relay and maybe a capacitor. i did a direct wire using my old G's horns (sounded good) and it's great for short bursts, but when i held it to tell a dumbarse who cut me off to behave, the a faking battery could not keep up with the current and da horn made a dying flimsy note after like 2sec. it was faking embarrassing.

install went well and rather quick. was da first time removing da STI's bumper but no stupid stiff tabs or anything and it just slipped back on with ease.
da supertones are SUPER LOUD luv dem!!
and da JDM STI grill looks subtle and fantastic.
