as01 looks like this. you can center the steering wheel so that it is perfectly straight (noon) at the top.
some hubs makes your steering slightly cocked due to the spline not being aligned correctly.

i remember the momo steering wheel i had on with the spacers was much closer to me than the stock steering wheel, otherwise defeats the purpose.
i cant remember the thickness i used on the spacer but it was like 20 or 30mm total because i also had the as01 sandwitched in there.
btw, if anyone is thinking about getting an aftermarket steering wheel, i highly recommend getting the as01. it's imho a must have.
i currently use it on my other car and momo eagle steering wheel.

I was thinking the same as you as in having the boss kit, BS-30 and a AS-01 to get an 40mm additional stack as well. The AS-01 is there to serve dual purpose of helping to center the steering wheel and give an additional 10mm as the longer daikei spacers above 30mm is already discontinued.
By my calculations, that will very likely give maybe an additional 10mm of additional reach compared to the stock steering. The momo grips are a little thinner which might actually make it more or less then same. But i haven't really measure those yet.

so ive been reading up on the 2015's and havent seen much of a complaint on reliability. has honda fixed the quirks? especially the stupid ones like doors not lining up to the frame, etc. i read about on the '14s..
i checked out the impreza hatch again and while it might be made in japan, i dont like the car. hahaha

thanks hootie. huh, my wife cant drive MT so it will have to be CVT... and this one i'd like to get the nav unit. will need to see wats wrong with the touch screen then, huh?

The touch screen works fine, the complaint for some people has been the lack of hard volume knob, however, the volume is easily adjusted using the steering wheel control.
The NAV is overpriced in my opinion for $1K and it also requires more $ for updates.

The CVT is actually quite good, especially in the EX trim level with paddle shifters.

but to be honest though, one of the key reasons why we bought these cars were because they were made in japan. ive had a lot of bad luck with non-japan made honda's in the past. like that civic i use to have... a week in for warranty repairs with less than 500miles.
and one of my first civics i had which completely died while driving. bought new too..
not to forget the other american made hondas with misc issues..
