crap more rain in the forecast.. lol
but at least cooler... it seems 60F and below is the ideal temp for this car. anything above starts to make the car feel heavy...

woot, washed my '12 this morning. then found a long scratch on the rear bumper... dumbarse landscapers probably.
polished it off mostly, but since i plan on keeping this car for at least a couple more years i didnt want to go too deep into the clear. there's a faint line in 2 spots but it's undetectable unless i point it out so im good.
since i had my RO out, i decided to polish the rest of the car and seal it. i did all panels except for the roof. it's a tad windy today so will do that on a calmer day.
also cleaned up the engine bay and interior, swapped back to my carpet floor mats.

woot, looks like a sunny weekend coming up.
i also need to work on my 09's roof and hood.... i noticed it feels rough like no clearcoat left. yikes... better polish and seal that up real quick.

swapped out my 09's air intake filter and cabin filter. both purchased at a great deal at amazon.
Fram CA10650 (intake filter)
TYC 800125P (cabin filter)
on the tyc you need to snip off the glue on 2 outer rows to make it fit the Fit's filter frame. it's no big deal. just use your wire cutter or scissors. you'll know wat im talking about when you're ready to put in the new filter.

finished polishing and sealing the roofs on the GE's today.
placed order for more 6" pads and one-step sealant (Griots).
while the pads are $12 each, i dont wash pads after i use polymer based products. it uses a lot of detergent including the griots microfiber cleaner to completely clean. it's just a waste of my time and cleaning products so just toss them after use.
when i use water based products or natural wax products it's easy to wash, so i keep those pads for a long time.

at near 90F and moderate humidity the car is pretty sluggish with family of 4 on board...lol
my kids are getting pretty big so i should get something with more umph! next time around. in the winter the car does fine though.
