hahaha! well, i do take donations. j/k

i really dont think my '12 needs too much more. the stereo sounds pretty good, i like the steering controls, USB connectivity, got bluetooth with streaming audio, nav, etc. via my roadster2 and droid4. wat else can i get? i dont need self dimming mirror or compass because i will have the windows tinted and compass, outside temp i can get from my smartphone.

i dont need a rear view camera because i can see just fine while backing up... hummm...

going back to that rattling recaro vivo seats, here's a pict i snapped yesterday:

In this pict you can see the hard foam i cut and placed into the head rest adjuster button. I used a thin 3M double stick tape to mount the foam. The foam is big enough to keep the button from rattling, but not putting excess pressure where it would release.

you can also see the toilet shim i put in the back. lol

here is where i cut a piece of hard felt (used thin 3M double stick tape as well) sandwiched into the adjustment detents. no more rattles!

mmm.... one thing i DO want to change is the stock horn. im not into this beep beep sounds. lol

i have my G's stock horns somewhere. perhaps i will just wire those in and make use out of them. i need to search the forum how to get to the stock horns. do i need to remove the bumper? no biggie. would i be able to access from bottom with my car on ramps? even better!

Nice advice on the booster seats. I'll probably run into that issue this or next year.

awesome! the recaro Vivo boosters can be had for like $80 each through amazon and fits 30lbs to 100lbs kids. it's a sporty looking seat.

ok, so i swapped out the fit's main horn with my G35C's stock horn...

the snails are the G horns...

wired it up with taps like so...

hooked it up to the car...

and at the end e-taped the top of the horn and harness so that water
would not get into the spade connectors.

SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER!!

btw, i kept the other Fit's beep horn for the lock and alarm as the G's horn sounds weird with only one tone. hahaha.

is that how you guys did yours? just wondering..

Ah ok, I see the difference now. I could have sworn that the GD Base had a golf ball texture all over the shift knob but was wrong.
