will check with my local speed shop if they have any available as well...

got my 09 back. car feels like new again, especially the brakes.

they did a reflash to fix the mpg counter too, so everything is now up to date on the car. tires are about 1/2 worn so i will be swapping those out probably next season with my '12's tires.

im hoping they finish up the lawn at the office soon so that i can drive my G to work tomorrow.

i checked around but apparently the ET45 boosts are sold out for gunmetal. i can only get one in gold in that shape/offset.

so im asking one of the shops if my tpms would fit the R-Spec. will see...

Nope! Ha wish it was that easy. You don't have to remove the stock emblem to put the new emblem on, but I would definitely recommend it. You just have to pry at the stock emblem until it lifts up a bit, then snip all the plastic connectors underneath as you go. Just pry from the inside of the emblem so as not to screw up the steering wheel on the outside of the emblem, where it would be visible. Not really that hard. Just make sure to unhook your battery first because if not you'll be honking the horn constantly, and that's annoying.

The mounting tape on the new emblem is really good tho. Hasn't lifted up a bit since I put mine on a couple months ago. Even sitting in the hot midwest sun.

ahh, thanks for the info. would it be easier just removing the steering wheel and srs and just work from the inside of the steering cover? that sounds like a lot of work for just a blue emblem.

so all during the hail i was sending out email to wife to see how my 12's doing outside... she's like, not raining here? hahaha.

and all the office folks just chitchatting about the hail, noone really pissed off or anything about it hitting their cars. just tells you why "normal folks" dont give a shit about cars and dings yours when they go shopping. wtf this world.

but we already knew that. hahaha. still pisses me off when i think about it.

If you could remove just the cover of the steering wheel, where the emblem is located, I suppose it would be easier. Not that hard w/ it on tho. Won't take you more than 15 min, and totally worth it IMO because you get to look at that cool emblem while you're driving

so while running some errands the other day in my 12, i found that the motorola droid4 cradle's ball joint was already getting kinda loose. like i would turn the dial in the back to lock the ball joint, but even a full tightness the cradle would pivot unintentionally.

since the sticky mount also has a ball joint (pict below) im thinking about drilling a screw into the motorola ball joint and just lock it down. such a crappy holder motorola made for their phone.

good stuff:

in my G, i run proclip mount and the hard wired droid4 holder. absolutely no issue on that one.

Got home and my '12 is very eager to go driving...atleast it appeared to me that way.
Instead of the G35C, I will take the GE to work tomorrow.

Also fixed the droid cradle tonight.
