Yah, maybe next time honda makes a sports car (not that weak CRZ crap) I might consider getting it and ARC bits for it. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Honestly I was really looking forward to the rumored S3K with V6.
So today motored my FitS to my hair stylist. There's this new cute girl working there and my stylist and I were talking when I first made my appointment over 2 decades ago, this new girl wasn't even born. Lol
3 day weekend coming up for me. Can't wait to motor my Z again.

ok, so i think ive decided not to fix my FitS any more (well wheel bearing if noise gets worse, but lately im thinking the howling is from the tires, not the bearing..
) the clutch shudder or the passenger side fender and just drive out the rest of the 9500miles. im at 21500miles to date so maybe one more year on my 08 and im done. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
the plan is by that time my younger kid can get strap himself in/out of the car on his own so i can use my G35C as my dd. i suppose i'll use the stock wheels and put snows on them for winter.

Sold one of my synths this am. FitS did great carring the large box to FedEx. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Considering I have a lot of big things to carry I'm going to have to have at least one boxy car at home.

Rain this am so going to pull out the G for a quick spin in the pm, I thinks.
been playing keys in my music room.
Hope you guys are having a good weekend.

ended up not taking the G out yesterday. didnt dry up until mid afternoon and by that time was too lazy to take the car out.
...and more than ever, i am too lazy to wash the car to 'detailed' standards. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
even on Sat it rained on my Z a little bit while i took her out. used Griot's SprayOn Car Wash to clean the side panels and rear bumper, and SprayOn wax'ed the entire car.![Big Grin](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
pickedup some wheel spacers from a local buddy today for the G's front wheels.![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
i didn't know kics made 10mm until recently and a guy local was coincidentally selling a pair.

i might decide and use the 4200 instead... not sure yet. there's a 3200 coming to me right now but i noticed there are decorative lines on the HU that kinda works against the factory trim opening... will have to see..

All I got so far is the frikken gasket that goes between the trim and HU's bezel.![Mad](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
where is my HU and the rest of the stuff?!![Mad](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)

Just got done installing it. finally got rid of the damned cassette deck. ![Big Grin](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Using the JDM trim, moved the dual climate control button over from the stock HU.
![](http://www.the370z.com/members/kenchan-albums-my-2004-g35c-6mt-premium-package-picture19796-finished.jpg)
zip-tied the resistor wiring onto the PAC so that the resistors don't tear apart
during re-assembly.

hole for the USB that goes into the cubby. the circle and line is for my EZ
felt how i would cut it (next pict)
![](http://www.the370z.com/members/kenchan-albums-my-2004-g35c-6mt-premium-package-picture19798-side-cubby.jpg)
here's how it looks inside. the color of the EZ felt is actually closer to
stock but the camera's flash made it look werd...
![](http://www.the370z.com/members/kenchan-albums-my-2004-g35c-6mt-premium-package-picture19797-inside-cubby.jpg)
i decided to use up my normally-closed push switch to do the video bypass
inside the cubby. you can get this little switch from Radioshack. or you
can make an auto one using a relay... or buy a pre-fab'ed one off ebay.
![](http://www.the370z.com/members/kenchan-albums-my-2004-g35c-6mt-premium-package-picture19802-videobypass.jpg)
bezel trim to rid the gap between the JDM trim and the HU. this trim came
with the 4100DVD. you can also buy a scosche DD trim from amazon if you
need one.
![](http://www.the370z.com/members/kenchan-albums-my-2004-g35c-6mt-premium-package-picture19800-trim.jpg)
the trim was mounted onto the JDM trim on the inside using thin double
stick tape and some e-tape. otherwise it will rattle.

Went to pickup some chinese for dinner in my FitS. Was a fun drive. ![Smile](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
On the way there, some old time boxster wanted to race my FitS for some reason... Light changed and he sped off the line at WOT bogging like some old fart gasping for air as he crunched his gear box like some teenager joy riding a dump truck.![Big Grin](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
So I accelerated like normal and drove at speed limit and passed him at the next light since he was already there waiting at a red light and I just timed myself for the light to change.
ofcourse I changed lanes in front of him just to reconfirm to him he is an idiot for street racing (by himself) and a douch in his slow 10+yr old boxster.
lol
Food was great.![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Afterwards cleaned up my G's leather seats using Griot's LeatherCare Spray and PrimaSlick'ed the wheels.
car's spotless again.
Going to pull out my Z tomorrow.

Wife yanked me out of the house to go shopping with the kids at the mall for BTS stuff for the kids. The drive was pretty fun in my FitS. Quite a change from 340hp+ to 109hp though.
Got a great deal on many things
, but my sore throat is definitely now a cold. I feel ill.
oh wellz, guess ill take a nap at work tomorrow.

headed over to the UPS store to drop-off my package and also get some meds for my cold.
while at the UPS store some guy around my age (maybe a tad older) was there
talking to the old clerk behind the counter telling him how to pack up his things and
how to insure it. the guy was basically being an arse talking to the old guy like
some 5yr old. i walk out of the store and sure enough there was a new A4
parked in the customer lot.
hahaha. i was like 'how typical...'

gotz a nismo oil cap for my Z. thought it would just give it a sparkle, but it's actually quite nice how it's weighted and it feels good when tightening/loosening. the weight is enough that it can spin by itself. pretty cool...
i tried it on my G and heck, i want to get one for my G too now.
