Age median of drivers

I've only had the Fit for a few days, but since I'm an owner, I feel more tuned in and aware to other Fits on the road; I'm noticing a lot more of them all of a sudden.

Anyway, I'm a hair away from 30 and from all the Fits I've seen driving around in the past few days, I may be the youngest driver of one by 20 to 30 years!!

Just wondering if everyone else is noticing that too.

I'll be 30 on November 20th. I just got my fit and am just waiting for the tint to go on before I take pics. Just put my Mugen Vent Visors on.

not FITTIN in!

It seems as if the median age at fit freaks is about twenty if I had to guess. I'm 46 and my opinions on the fit are very far from what I believe would be "fitfreak mainstream". After years of research on what would be the definitive long term economical and fun driving solution I ordered and received A BBP MT Fit about two weeks ago. I was going to purchase a 96 to 00 civic hatchback but the available candidates had been so "tuned" or "modded" that dependability and gas mileage (what Hondas are good at) had been removed from the vehicle. I had to purchase a new Honda to assure that it had not been "tuned" so that it was still trustworthy. So few fits are in my area that I have no idea what the mean driver's age would be. Anyway at 46 I'm a senior fit owner. My last fun car was an 85 Toyota MR2 and, front drive and all, the Fit measures up quite nicely. Honda deserves awards for this functional masterpiece!

Most of the Fit drivers I see are silver haired. Most of the Fitfreaks are under 30. Lots of people just buy it for the practical economy car thing--just like the civic. Just like the civic, most will remain stock. The silver haired Fit owners I see don't wave back or notice that we are both driving a cool and uncommon car. Meh +.

If I see ya, I'll wave. (38) I originally picked this up for my oldest son when he goes to college (he's 16 now), and I needed a better mpg car for work. Although, having played with it for a week now, he may have to get his own!!!
