Rust!

Has anyone had issues with rust?
We have had our Fit for just over one year and the bottom of the driver's side door is already starting to rust. It's not as though we don't wash our car regularly, there is no reason it should be rusting already. I thought Honda had got passed the days when all their vehicles rusted out to nothing.

I will try to get a pic tomorrow.
I live in the prairies in Canada.
The rust is not bad...yet. It is just two dots of bubbling paint due to rust (you can see the rust) a bit smaller than the backend of a pen.
Thanks for the quick feedback.

Take it to the dealer... it should be covered under warranty.

bottom of the driver door? hmm...have you opened the door on the curb and scratched the bottom? if you have, and you leave it overtime, uncared for, it will oxidize and rust.

My Fit here in TN (little/no salt) has rust on the font bumper welds and seams when I removed my plastic bumper to install my foglights.
