tall people in da' fit

I'm 6'1.5" and fit in the Fit OK. The couple things I would like are the pedals being further forward in the cabin, and a telescoping steering wheel.
Actually, just being able to telescope the steering wheel would alleviate the pedal issue, since one would be able to move the seat back as well.
On long trips, it might be odd not being able to stretch the legs out a little, but I'd be using cruise, so I wouldn't have to get achy ankles constantly operating the pedals.

Well I'm 6'6" and drive a MT Fit and I have to say that my legs really bother me on short and long trips alike. My size 15s don't help either, the angle I have to put my right foot really kills me. I wish there was a solution for this as it's almost to the point where I wish I'd of purchased a civic.

Yes, adjustable pedals would be the WONDERFUL! Surely they exist???

Good luck on finding those. Haha. Damn 6'6" thats pretty tall and size 15 feet. Whoa. I dont even know what to tell you to help you out. Maybe if you buy aftermarket pedals you can adjust them a little up or down on the pedals to help you out but i wouldnt know how easy it would be to fasten them down. Good luck tho.

The steering wheel isn't my problem though, at least I don't think it's playing a factor.

Yup
I know this thread is old as dust but whatevz, I'm 6'1" and just bought a used 2008 fit from an older lady with only 3200 miles on it! But wow first thing I noticed was the lack of leg room. My knee rests against the automatic shifter which makes me a bit nervous. Could not imagine driving in this car all day. Guess I'll have to grin and bear it lol

I'm 6'0" and I find that my ('12) Fit is acceptable (even on long trips) but not spectacular, and suspect I would have a different car if my legs were very much longer. I do wish the steering wheel telescoped more; it seems to go between too far away and way too far away.
With a little practice, you should be able to safely drive with using your left foot rather than your right, which gives you more options for repositioning yourself. That's a bit harder of a trick to pull with a manual, though it's still doable on long highway stretches where you can stay in one gear for a long spell.

Wow, y’all must have long torsos and reallly short legs then. I’m 6’ and my problem is I have to essentially hover the ball of my foot off the pedals to keep it from revving while at a red light, and I have the seat all the way back. Doing this puts stress in places on my knee that I’ve never felt before. My feet are apparently a bit wide too as I will accidentally rev the car while breaking. Fortunately I have the habit of pulling it out of gear before I apply brakes.
