Claymore. Thank you for your keen interest in my situation. I wasn't aware a thread requires a minimum number of postings for it to be considered acceptable. I trust the fairly comprehensive 2nd post provided some balance against a lower number of overall posts.

I haven't posted since the 2nd one because I don't want to keep bringing everyone down with my problem; and because there has not been much to say as not much has happened until recently.

The police finally interviewed him and he was arrested for assualt. He admitted threatening behaviour, but denied assualt. As there were no witnesses, it is just my word against his so they are prosecuting him for public disorder, which is not as serious as assault. He has previous convictions for assualt and threatening behaviour so it is going to court. Luckily, as he has admitted it, I don't need to be there.

Hopefully, if there's a next time, he will be a bit calmer!
