Hi, I did not read the whole thread but have read your original post. My suggestion is just to leave it alone, she is your sister and is a member your family. Let it go and move on, its just a car that will lose its value. As long as your sister learned her lesson and was sorry for what happened to your car then it is okay. Just my opinion.

As a parent of 2 kids...
If this happened between my kids they wouldn't even be on here worrying about it. Your sister would have to pay for it, and you wouldn't have to worry about it. The biggest thing I am trying to make sure my kids understand about life is personal responsibility. If they do wrong, they fix it themselves. There is no arguing about it, they just fix what they break, or pay for it if it can't be fixed.
That said, even if my car was hit and the person that hit it gave me cash to cover it, I would still be mad that it was hit to begin with... a fixed dent is not quite the same as a new untouched car...
