Weathertech Window Visors

Weathertech Window Visors
Does anyone have a set of Weathertech Window visors installed? I would like to make a decision soon between the authentic Mugen or the Weathertech but I haven't seen anyone with the Weathertech visors. I would love to see an actual picture from someone here on FitFreak.
Thanks

While I was shopping for my visors I went to the WeatherTech site, and found that a 4-pc. set for the Fit was about the same price as the Mugens. When I was able to look at the Mugens on a Fit at a recent Fit Meet, I decided not to gamble on the WeatherTech brand. But for your decision, it's pretty likely that if you buy them on-line from someplace like ajprindle.com or other car accessory outlet, you can return them for a refund if they aren't damaged.
Good luck!

Thanks manxman for your input.
From what I've read, both are functional products that do the job well, but I am also concerned about the aesthetics that's why I wanted to see a picture of the Weathertech set.
How do you remove the 3M adhesive tape if you have to remove the Mugens?
I will probably go the route of ordering the Weathertech from Parts Source and see how they work and look.
Anyone else have pictures?

We have a 2006 accord and 07 fit.... got weathertechs for both.... for 1 day then returned both...... both created more windnoise since it goes between the window seal... and if left too long i think it will stretch your seals permanantly

I also had the weathertech visors. They were a gift. The front fit alright, but the window motor seemed to strain more due to the visors being wedged in behind the window seal. I never got the rear ones installed, they weren't cut correctly and they would only go halfway in. I even took them to the place where they were purchased and they couldn't install the rear ones and they refused to give me a refund because the fronts were installed.
As far as removing the double sided tape there are plenty of adhesive removing products out there. And WD-40 works great too.
I would go for the Mugen's, but it's up to you.
Good Luck.

I agree with NSX280PS - I bought the Weathertechs and installed them (no installation problems) for as long as it took to go out on the freeway and hear the increased wind noise that resulted from them. The wind noise combined with the uncomfortable feeling I got about breaking the window seal were enough to make me take them off and they're sitting on a shelf in the garage now. After this experience I decided I didn't need window visors after all so I didn't try any of the glue-on kinds.

Thank you everyone for your input! I've decided not to get the Weathertech.
It's down to JDM or Mugen! I really like the JDM slim profile vs the obvious styling of the Mugen. Which one will be more aerodynamic in terms of wind noise and allowing air to flow inside the car? Can anyone tell me how far the Mugen extends out from the door?

I have the Weathertech visors. The shop where I bought them recommended them over another brand that were attached with tape.
The salesman had them on his pickup.
I've had them for a month with no problems.

If you guys found your OEM visors easily peel off, I suggest you tear them off completely, use alcohol or window cleaners to clean both the visors and the car until no more tapes left on the surfaces, then use 3M outdoor black double sided tape to stick on.
Mine used for 3 years already and still completely fit sticking on my Jazz

I've had the weathertechs on for 4 months now. The rears don't fit 100%, but I haven't had any sort of problems with them coming loose or anything. As for the wind noise, it is GREATLY REDUCED, not increased, and with all 4 windows down on the highway, the car no longer makes that scary pulsing sound that shakes the whole car. For $90 you can't go wrong. The ONLY fault they have is the fitment of the rears. They "bubble" out a bit further than I'd like, because of how the corners are moulded. I have thought about contacting them about it, but it's not really worth my time.

Even if I filed down the back ones so they fit better, I'd still be concerned about them flying off again.
