No love from fellow Fit Owners????
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to know why fellow Fit owners don't flick lights back or wave back when i see one on the road?
I'm coming from the S2000 community which is a very
friendly and quite honestly the best i've ever been in
but coming from there to the Fit community i figured it would be the same
i don't know maybe i'm expecting too much?
the only thing i've got so far was a nod from a SSM Fit going toward Newport News
so i ask fellow Fit Owners please show some love!

I do the same here in Washington. 1 out of 5 Fit owners wave. Most of the time they are older people. The adults don't look, but I can see the kids riding in the back saying, "Look that's our car."

I'm a newbie. too. Used to wave at VW owners when I had one, same with Jeep owners. Maybe you have gotten any waves because we still have a very unusual car and u can't spot another quickly enough. Keep waving and it'll catch on.

yeah most people I see with Fits are girls, old people, and moms. Not an enthusiasts car here in pittsburgh.
Back in LA if im driving my dads FD RX7 that is a whole different story. NSXs, s2Ks, Evos, STIs everything and everyone waves at me.
also for those of you who have and drive their s2k what are your insights to how well the fit handles? granted S2k has much more power. but that doesnt mean much in the corner. how close or far is the Fit in cornering ability to the S2K?

I usually only honk at other orange fits, or modded fits. There is getting to be a fair number of stock and base fits around driven by non enthusiasts so I don't bother waving or honking at them.

I've never driven an S2000, but this morning I was changing lanes going at about 60mph when right in the middle of both lanes (on the white line) was a dead raccoon. I didn't want to damage my front lip or get blood everywhere, so I just moved the steering wheel a bit and missed it. I was surprised how fast the car reacted and how it stayed stable and glued to the road. If I were to imagine driving a Formula One car and the way it handled...I would think it'd be much like the Fit.

I see a lot of ~30+yr old women driving them. I don't they are enthusiasts. I also see some seniors driving them.
