I'm 26, and this is my 5th car, and my first Honda. Hopefully, this will be the car I keep for the longest time since it is better quality and safer than my previous vehicles.
Here is my list of my previous cars:
-1997 Chevrolet Cavalier (purchased used in 2000)
-2002 Saturn SC1 (new)
-2004 Saturn ION-3 Quad Coupe (new)

-2008 Honda Fit Sport (automatic)

I myself am a recovering SE-R addict. (91-94 Sentra SE-R, 95-99 200sx SE-R for those who don't know) - I went from a fully modded 14.8 @ 96 MPH SR20 powered car to the Fit, which was quite a change, at least power wise. The MPG is nice though.

My fit is on order and should arrive in 8 weeks. I picked the simple one - base manual Red. Will add some things but it will be for everyday chores.
Previously owned:
1959 Volvo P444
1968 Volvo P1800
1963 Triumph TR3
1964 Triumph TR4

1969 (?) Mercedes 300D wagon
1968 (?) honda 600 (car)
1963 Austin Healey 3000 (BJ)
1959 Morgan
1987 Mazda 323 station wagon
1991 Mazda Miata
1996 Subaru legacy
1959 Morgan plus 4 (current)
1969 Mercedes 280 SL (current)
1966 Corvette coupe 427 (current)
1971 Jaguar XKE coupe (current)
1976 Yamaha trials (175) (current)

Since I used to race motorcycles for a living, I will not include those I picked up along the way - lots of fun ones from a flat track harley 750 to CZ and BSA gold stars.
Considering I lived in a commune in Colorado for 24 years, I now find it insane I owne so many and am considering selling some to clear out the garage (and insurance fees) to make room for the Fit.
You are never too old to be young.

You may not need to sell them to make room, just for insurance purposes. I did a little measuring after I got my Fit and if it werent for all my tools and other car parts laying around we'd be able to fit 4 Fits into our 2 car garage

It definitely skews young on this board.....37 y.o. in a few weeks.
Congrats to the < 20's who are starting out with a great car like the Fit. Great introduction to your automotive lifespan.
1969 Chevy Chevelle
1979 Mustang 2.3 L Turbo (ate oil as fast as gasoline)
1984 Camaro (305cid just to get to 150 h.p...but hey, gas was only .89)
1984 Toyota Corolla (college beater...bullet-proof)
1984 Olds Cutlass Supreme (the rod thrower....)
1986 Acura Integra
1989 Toyota Celica (great h.p./weight)
1995 Honda Civic EX
1997 Honda Civic EX
1996 Acura Integra LS
1996 Honda Accord EX
2000 Honda Accord EX V6
2001 Honda Prelude
2004 Honda Accord EX V6/6SP (the one I want back now and then)
2005 Honda CR-V EX
2003 Toyota Celica GT
2005 Honda S2000
2008 Honda Fit Sport
On the horizon, I wouldn't mind picking up a used '07/'08 TSX 6SP in a few years along with a CRZ.. . Even better, they could bring over the Euro Civic Type R 3door and I'd be at the dealer with my checkbook tomorrow.
