New Fit "pulsing" while stopped

My Fit started to "pulse" while stopped at lights. (It's an AT so it's not in neutral.) If I put it in neutral the pulsing goes away. The brake pedal is fully pressed, but it just pulses strangely, it feels like the engine is trying to rev a very small amount in a cyclical fashion.

Should I be concerned? It definitely feels unusual.

Is it something new, that the car didn't always do?

And it isn't the cycling of the cooling fan? Mine starts that cooling fan bidnih as soon as I start it, even though the engine's cold.

I'm pretty sure it's the A/C. I thought all cars did this?

Yup! It may be the fan it seems to kick in at a stop and sounds like a rev.

Do you have the defroster on by chance? Cuz with it on the AC will cycle on and off causing an uneven idle.

No the A/C isn't on and there isn't any actual RPM surge on the tach. And it appears to have gone away lately. Now I'm noticing the fan spinning up following a stop. I'm probably just noticing the weird things about new cars each day.

I bet that's what it is, too. This car does have a lot of little sounds and stuff that you might not notice in a larger / heavier car. Especially if your last car was not a Honda. Hondas have a few quirks like that, but it all works together to make very good vehicles.

Odd, mine just started doing this too now, I have a manual and it does it in neutral at stoplights. I have 20k miles.
