New Fit Owner - My Poor Rims

Hey everyone,

I just picked up my Honda Fit yesterday and guess what... I scraped my rims a bit against the sidewalk. Yes, I'm an IDIOT! But it was very dark out so I don't know the extent of the damage... I'm assuming its minor. I did see some of the paint peeled off and the edges feeling a little rough.
Is there anything I can do to help my poor fit? Please help!

Oh man that sucks!!! But if you can, get some rad aftermarket rims!! If not, I saw somewhere on this forum that you can have them repaired.

Exclamation Practice

You should start to practice parking ASAP ! Have someone stand curb side and show you space with their hands - SERIOUSLY!!!

Sucks that it happened on your first day, but scrapes and scratches are going to happen to your car eventually. So if it's not too bad I don't think anyone will notice? and besides they are stock rims anyways, save up for some aftermarket ones.

Happened to me too as well just about 2 days ago. Man... did I feel like crap afterwards. Especially since I've just had my Fit for a little less than one month.

ah that sucks...i always just park as far away as possible and take my time...i also agree with jonniedee, have somebody stand by the curb and show you how much room you have so you can get used to it, know its hard to tell on the fit how close you are. thats why i always just park a little bit too far off and push in the mirror...no probs yet.

Wheels, please, wheels. Not rims. Wheels.

And sucks about the wheels. I'm really afraid of my GF screwing ours up.
