I know we've all seen these, but as many times as I look at them, these photos (or renderings) don't really grow on me. The 2007 has more character. That being said, I'm sure there will be further refinements, the car will get better in some ways and the Fit will evolve like everything else.

But! The outside looks smaller than the '07 to me, although there is nothing else in the shot to compare size against. One reason I love the Fit is all that wonderful space for our stuff. It would be a shame to shrink it and lose any of that space. Where would I put all that frozen stuff I bought today at Costco ?

It's the inside that counts (to me)

I never really thought that the Fit is a very good looking car in the first place but it was the interior, features and overall practicality that really wowed me. As long as the new Fit keeps everything the 1st generation has while adding more (crossing my fingers on steering wheel audio controls and reasonable release time for the U.S.), I'll be happy to buy the Honda "Aveo".

Bring it here as a 4WD Diesel, and I'll trade my 07 faster than you can say "finally"

heck, since it is so similar, maybe Honda will introduce a Transformer as well to help them sell the 09 Fit!
