Anybody try 86 octane?

Some of the Indian reservations in my area sell 86 octane fuel. Its cheaper. Has anybody tried it?

I used to put it in my last car from time to time, but it was a POS so I wasn't too concerned.

I'm nervous about putting it in my Fit. Comments?

I would say..go with what the manual said... since its compression ratio is kinda high (10.4:1) it is probably necessary to use recommanded octane to stay away from knocks

Yeah i agree with aaa12345. Why try 2 save a couple cents when u know that if ur engine knocks due to bad gas and the dealership finds out (trust me they can), ur screwed. Stick w/ 87.
