Question Bumper Body kit Scrape: Help!

A week ago Thursday I got my fit back after the dealer kindly repaired the paint peeling from the front bumper. My fit was new again. And I should have lived happily every after....

Monday I was leaving a buddy's house and the driveway was slightly steep. (Maybe 15 degrees) As I soon found out, it was ever so slightly too steep. I slowed down but not enough I guess. I heard the agonizing sound of gravel being ground into my front bumper body kit.

So then I got to inspect it. The gravel made half a dozen little scrapes through the clear coat, through the paint into the plastic. What can I do? I found the threads on touch-up paint but wouldn't I need to fill the scrapes before I use touch up paint? Thanks guys.

I guess that's true. I've never had a car with a body kit before so that never occurred to me. I just want to keep her looking nice. I guess if I go the touch up paint route, it'll look just fine to everyone except for the guy who crawls up underneath the car. That's fine, because the only person who's going to crawl underneath this car is me.

My front lip is all scraped up, going to be worse as I get the coilovers on it. Scrapes happens.

Sucks, but fact of life I guess. Are you lowered? Probably woulda been worse if u were. I've got a couple deep scrapes too, took some plastic out, but I'm not even gonna bother, it's only plastic haha. At least the body paint is fine! I'll probably just replace the part when I sell it (less than $250 if I remember correctly), or if I keep her, just get CF lip maybe?? Lesson learned though, when I get my next car with a lip, I'm gonna put CF on right away, and keep the stock lip perfect for resale value, the original is always worth more than any CF "upgrade" so I'd consider that insurance.

Front lips are going to get scraped up, just live with it. Mine has tons of scratches and stuff on the bottom that you can't see. I could care less, it's plastic anyways.
