Question Honda Survey???

On a Honda survey #14 question a. Have you experienced any problems with your new honda I marked (yes) and question c. Was your Honda delivered damaged? (yes) question d. Did it have dings or dents, paint scratches, or Buff or swirl marks. See Honda knows all about the swirl marks I love my fit but the paint job on the Nighthawk black pearl sucks and Honda knows about it How many fit owners have had the same problem with Swirl marks?

They probably ask the same questions about all cars, from before the Fit was even offered in the U.S.

That said, damage at delivery is so common for all cars I had to include it in my site's reliability survey.

You'd think dealers would inspect the cars and deliver them perfect. But, well, no.

I wonder if the holes my Honda dealer drilled into the front bumper for a plate holder count? Even when I specifically stated not to do it after it was delivered. NC doesn't require front tags. They just needed another place to advertise their business.

Not for $15,000 dollars, that won't buy you perfection. I've spent a third of that on a paint job alone. It came out pretty close...

That pissed me off too...
I specifically asked for no holes be drilled in the front bumper... but they did it anyway...

The DEALER just the sound of that word makes my skin tighten. We the CUSTOMER who without us the DEALER wouldn't make one dime, have the RIGHT to tell them what we want and do not want!!!! Your state NC doesn't have a front plate but they drilled anyway. Thats just wrong I remember I told my dealer no name on my car and this they did. I love it when the Salesperson tells you if you bring me a cust and I sell them a car you get $100.00 dollars? Big deal after the screw job I got with the poor detailing of my fit and the time and money we both spent I bet I've cost them several new car sales. And over all I bet they are glad I don't have the dealer name on my car.

Dealer installed swirl marks are very common. They dont know how to properly wash cars. Vist Autopia to find out how to remove the swirl marks and how to properly wash your car so you can minimized the swirl marks.

If you don't like the service that you received, the most effective thing that you can do is never give them another penny, they're in business to make money, don't let it be yours.

You can also let others know how you feel so that they can avoid the specific dealer that did you wrong. Some dealers do provide excellent customer service and follow directions.

Somewhere along the way you have to decide how much all this angst is worth to you. If these are the biggest issues in your life, you are truly a lucky person.

Eric

PS. I've spent 2 years striving for perfection modifying my racing trimaran. If I had settled for good enough, I could have had another year of sailing. I think that I screwed myself on that one.
