59 mpg,beat that...
had to go on a business trip today and decided to see how efficient i could be with my right foot..
143 mile journey on the motorway (highway) doing 60mph..
took a picture while on the road doing 58mpg, but unfortunitely didnt get one of 59 damn it..
driving a GD1 UK spec sport with the L13a, manual (stick)..
now let all those who thinks im talking bs commence..

For the benefit of the American majority, that's 49 miles per US gallon. Decent, but you can probably get better with the L13A... I've seen that on a shorter (40 mile) highway trip with the L15A VTEC.

I'm jealous; I wish my Fit had a display like that. I've been considering the Scangauge II, but I haven't decided where the display unit should go.
If Jezzy is claiming that he averaged 58 MPG(I) for the entire 143 mile trip, that is impressive. I also believe that most of the instruments that we use in these observations are precise (deliver consistent results) but are not necessarily accurate. For valid claims, the calibration of speedo, odo, gas pump, etc. should be confirmed.
Getting a high reading for moments, even a few miles, is not that difficult. I regularly see peak readings of 99 MPG (US) in my wife's '02 Chrysler Sebring with a V6 and auto trans. I know that I get the Sebring's onboard computer to average above 70 MPG for 10 miles or so, on a route not very far from my house.
