License plate screws

Sorry to make an entirely new thread about this ... I finally went to pick up my plate a couple of days ago. The dealership didn't put a temporary "Dobbs Honda" plate on my car, so I don't have the screws for the real plate. I went to Autozone thinking all license plate screws are the same, apparently not. The generic "import car" set I bought turned out too be too big. Driving all the way back to the dealer for two screws seems a little silly, so anyone have any idea how big these screws are so I can run to Autozone and get the right size?

Thanks!

Hey Fish,
I don't know the size, but the dorks at AutoZone should be able/willing to look and guess, then hand you one to try before you buy them. They check batteries and alternators, install wiper blades, et cetera, so I believe they would help you out.
Did you look in your spare wheel well? In Alabama, we don't have front license plates, but the hardware for installing one was included, and was sitting in the spare well.

License plate screws

I did not have my front plate attached and there are extra screws inside the bag that came in. The ones they gave me from dealership do
not match - different types of screws. I plan to remove them once I get my vanity plate in and replace with black ones that were in the front kit. Of course if you live where a front plate is manditory this may not help you out!

I just bought some stainless steel ones for the back plate and they were M6x1.0 if I remember right. You should be able to get them at your local hardware store.
