How much did you pay for your Fit Sport?

After months of looking, we decided not to get the Fit.
We both believe that it is priced too close to the Civic and we'll just have to do without the magic seat or hatchback (the upsides to the Civic are greater). We got a four door Civic EX for a little more than a Fit Sport. LX would have been *less* than the Fit with Civic financing special (4.9%)!
Why can't Honda make a decent sized hatchback a la Civic size with the same magic seat, the same 30 mpg, EX upgrade options if they are going to sell the Fit (small car, small engine, no bucket seats) at or near the price of a Civic? I don't get it. The Fit just seems like a big money maker for Honda despite what Honda or the dealers will tell you.

Wow, it's pretty scary hearing some of these dealer stories. I got no bs, no add on's. Got what the web said msrp was plus a small 130 fee. NJ did this.
(they did try to sell the window etching for 250) I balked at that as people said that if it's stolen on the east coast it will never ever be found, and you really don't want a stolen car back anyway.
If you need financing go to Bankrate.com and find lenders in your area.
Rate will depend on your credit rating. The better you are with credit score the lower rate you will get.
