Why do you like your Fit??

Bug Guts
I have noticed that my Fit is not nearly as bad about collecting bugs on the windshield as most of my previous cars have been. I guess it's the way the slope of the hood blends right in with the slope of the windshield. I see them coming, and they get whooshed up over the roof at the last moment.
Contrarily, the flat vertical surface of the front bumper and plastic ground effects, collects MORE than its fair share. Maybe that's where all my windshield's bugs are!

So I've had it for a little longer now, and it just seems like, every time I get it in to drive, I love it a little more! It's just so gosh darn fun and functional, all in one package. MPG getting higher, on my 3rd tank now and it is finally over 600M so maybe start seeing higher MPG, at least for an in city AT. Last fill up, I figured 29... was 27 on first tank... hope it keeps climbing.
JUST LOVE THIS CAR!

my reasons,
relatively large interior room (tall) hatchback
easy to park,
fun to drive,
versitile seating,
good on gas,
honda reliable,
best looking car in it's class inside and out,
a lot of aftermarket support

Why do I LOVE it?
I was first sold on the look, BOM knocked me out. Then the interior room, husband and two kiddos in the back and everyone is comfy. Now I am hooked on the handling, it is so much fun to drive. The gas mileage is a big plus these days (I just giggle when I see the monster SUVS at the gas station) I average 33 MPG around town. Being a Honda is great, of course. Their rep is unmatched (IMHO). Being "green" is important to me too.
Finally, I really enjoy all the attention from other people. The young kids just stare and stare and people ask me all the time if it is a Hybrid. I came out of the store the other day and found a note under my windshield wiper:
"Do you love your Fit as much as we do?" I have watched people walk by it and stop, back up, walk all around the car...
I am VERY pleased....

1.Not so expensive. I needed a car and a new one, because if u buy an used one they sometimes give u prob. and i didn't wanna that. I was btw yaris or fit, and the fit was bigger, comfortable and looked cooler.
2. Save gas. Doesn't waste too much gas but it save like the kia Rio; a good car too.
3. Manual Transmition. I love manual transmition cars, but i wanted a red one and i had to resign myself w/a black one but now i love it in black; because it was the last MT left
4.Is Honda; the price of the car doesn't fall low easily; i think is called depresation
5. Location. Where i'm from not much ppl have the car and if they have it they have AT. So my car is different until now
5.Is sport; I love sport cars and while i'm single that's my stlyle until i have a family.

I bought the Fit because: 1) My Ford Escort ZX2 had broken down 3 times (128,000 miles), great car, loved it; 2) The Fit was rated #1 in Sub-Compact Vehicles for Safety; 2) It's Cute (everyone calls my Fit cute); 3) Gas Mileage (36-37 average so far); 4) It's different; 5) Hugs tight curbs; 6) It's fun to drive 7) And it's not everyday you see a BOM around here (Lower 'Bama); 8) And I'm unique, anyway. I have had only one other vehicle that hugged curves (and could go really fast, and that was my Fiero GT (had all the bells and whistles....I liked being able to start my car up in the morning on winters from inside my house! That was GREAT!), but it was in the shop more than on the road), but I LOVED It! when I had it). I could even out run cops! (Only kidding)! Actually, got pulled over once and the trooper said he had to go 80-90 to catch up with me, and I was only doing 75, ha ha!

Its a fun car to drive, my gas mileage is good and its a cool looking car. There are so many things I like about it. But after the WARRANTY is over I will be looking for a shop that works on them a lot cheaper then the DEALER!

Allot of the reasons you like yours
This was my first NEW NEW car. I traded in a '96 Ford Contour with 175,000 miles on it, bald tires and one missing mirror. (BTW if you have one, they are worth $400.00)
I shopped around allot, knowing that I'd want either a Honda, Scion, VW, or something I could not afford.
Test drove the Fit and then the XA (which was my second choice).
After reading the reviews and driving one this is the why.
What I was looking for.
Small
Lots of cargo space
MPG
Reliability
Safety (29, no kids, 1 dog, just like not being killed)
Nice looking car
Fun to drive
Cost
The Fit is the first car that has ever made me interested in cars.
I love getting gas every 300 miles, I love driving it.
I love that people stop me to ask about it.
I love knowing that this car will transport me a very long way for a very long time.
I recently packed 5 dining room chairs, two table leaves, an antique rocking chair, box of silver silverware, and a food processor in it with room to spare.
It fit's (sorry 'bout the pun) my needs and lifestyle. Road trips are great, friends love it. I have 3 people saving to buy there own right now! It's just the right car for me.
XA = awsome, friend has one. It's cool, just not enough cargo room.
Other hatchbacks (matrix, older Honda's, Chevy, VW...list goes on) didn't have the "magic" seats.
So thats that.
