Spoon / Seibon SP style wing installation !

Hey everyone , I just picked up a seibon SP style wing.. I noticed that the 3 screws that is has doesnt align whatsoever with my stock spoiler's holes ( i have a 07 sport ). I understand that we have to drill our way in.. Upon browsing I have noticed that some people actually cut out the middle screw and just used the two screws on each end. Any suggestions on how to cut the middle screw ? Or , if you installed the middle screw as well , How did you drill in the middle of the hatch .. I believe it conflicts with the hole that we already have there in the middle.. Help please !

Is there any aftermarket wing that utilizes the stock wing hole location?

UPDATE! 3/22/07

I finally installed the wing and will be doing a write up on it.

1. BUY the wing haha

2. Whether you have an authentic spoon wing or a seibon sp style wing , it will come with 3 screws attached to it. Use a dremel or bring your wing to a local bodyshop or mechanic to cut off the MIDDLE screw.

From doing some research here on fitfreak and ofcourse with the help of our fellow fitfreakers, I really believe that it's necessary to cut the middle screw simply because the place we will have to drill a hole for it just doesn't make sense.

3. The screws will NOT directly bolt onto the 07 SPORT's spoiler holes and 07 Base models ( duh they don't come with spoilers anyway haha)

4. It doesn't matter if you have a SPORT or BASE model , you will HAVE to DRILL holes.

IF YOU HAVE A BASE MODEL FIT , SKIP 5 & 6

5. If you have a SPORT model then you will have to first remove the plastic covers of the screws that are currently holding the spoiler to your trunk.

6. Unscrew both screws on each end , yank off spoiler.

7. Position your wing so that it has this much gap between the top of your car and the hatch..

This is from Raimondas btw. Borrowed your picture , hope you dont mind

8. Use any kind of marker to trace the holes.

9. DRILL AWAY!

10. Put the spoiler in place , use heavy duty double sided tape to reinforce fitment !

11. You're 10% more jdm now. WOOT WOOT

I know right , I dont have pictures of my installs end result. Haha my camera died right before I finished the install. Anyway , i'll post more pictures tomorrow. Hope this was helpful to all of you !
