Honda's quality in China equals Japan

GUANGZHOU -- Honda Motor Co. is the first automaker to sell cars made in China to developed markets, including Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
Hironori Kanayama, president of automaker Honda Automobile (China) Co., visited dealers in Italy. Customers could not tell the difference between the Jazz made in China from the Jazz made in Japan, he says.

I've personally been wondering about the reliability of Chinese-made cars. I'd love to conduct my survey there. Unfortunately, this article contains little substantive evidence about reliability. Instead, it's about the perceived quality of cars in the showroom, where people apparently cannot tell a Chinese-made Jazz from one made in Japan. So just fit and finish.
