New SSM Fit Sport MT / Philly

Finally got home tonight with my new SSM Sport with MT. Got its for 16,214 at Honda Universe in Lakewood, NJ. Complete A$$holes, but i have my car and just a little over MSRP.

After being sent home Friday due to them messing up the paper work i found myself waiting until tonight to get the car. Unfortunately (or fortunately as you may find out), the next day, saturday, my 1999 Honda Civic Ex with almost 200,000 blew its alternator and died in NE philly on route 1. Had it towed to my place in university city and it turns out the tow truck driver may be interested in buying it. So who knows what'll work out.

Ill take photos tommorow and post them. Any other philly Fits, make sure you say hi haha.

Got my mugen visors from King today while at work, haha. Hopefully HIDs later this week from Spider2k (who knows what the heck is going on with that). And then tinting this weekend if i can.

I got the same exact car from Martin Mainline Honda, but I didn't pay over MSRP. I'm still in school right now, waiting for spring break to come next week. My parents just got the car last weekend, and it's just sitting in my driveway. I live in Bucks County.

I'm in south jersey like 5 minutes from philly. I've been TRYING to get a fit but every honda dealer I have dealed with feels the need to not budge off MSRP, options pricing, and most importantly trade-in value. I've got a 05 6mt fully loaded G35 sport coupe I'm trying to trade in. And all the dealers seem to think 24k on a car that stickered for 39k 18 months ago is INSANE.

The payment, fuel and insurance are just getting to be too much, I don't need a fancy car to show off my self worth, thats what my ducati is for

If I can get a dealer to offer 26 I would do it, damn thats all I want. I'm not upsidedown on my payments cause I was able to buy the car at invoice because my dad works for a dealer that owned a infiniti dealer. BUT I still want to bring as much equity as possible to the table. BUT anyway enough of my rant, GOOD LUCK with your car.....hopefully this spring/summer I will have one too.

so anyway again enough of my rant, I'll be a philly area fit owner sooner or later so whats up!

CYCOXTR- Whats your name? Cause when i had origonally put the deposit down on the Fit he was showing me the order form for the cars and he told me there had been another SSM Sport who's been waiting forever and that they were starting to get mad, lol was that you?

Jess- Did you try Martin Mainline, they offered me the most for my trade in and you could probably just ask for "Tony" and tell him that you wanted the car with my name on it. It'll be here by the end of the month i think.

My name is Victor, and yes, that was probably me who was pissing off the people at Martin Mainline. But, I didn't see the point of why they were pressuring me to buy the car before it arrived.

Thumbs up Congrats!

I have the exact same car as you! Got it in October at Conicelli Honda in Conshohocken, and now have a little over 4000 miles on it.

fairmount fit

Hey, nice to see some Philly Fit drivers on here ... we've had ours since October and I'm loving it (can't beat being able to squeeze into otherwise ungodly small parking spaces ...) I live up in Fairmount and there seem to be 3-4 in the neighborhood.

if anyone feels the need to own a spare right (factory) tail light, let me know - our left one got cracked so I just replaced both with some allegedly "Euro" style ones from eBay.

happy motoring!

I got my black on order from turnersville honda, I got a DECENT rate on my trade, so I made the deal, I mean I'm doing this to save on a big car payment, fuel and insurance and bitching over a 1000 difference in what I want and what they are willing to give was getting me nowhere. Now I just need to come up with some money for the HFP wheels. I would love some works or something like that but....I can get the hfp wheels for dealercost + 10% so fancy wheels would set me back probably another 3-500 dollars.

Just going to fight with the dealer to get them to give me the nice carpet floor mats and maybe a billet shifter, but the car SHOULD be here no later then the end of april.
