5spd all the way, its alot funner to drive. Plus, I don't want to lose any more power than we have already.

Manual to auto

I'm actually on the verge of trading my beloved WRX in for a 5AT because I'm tired of shifting. I'm also tired of premium gas prices, low mpg. I'm almost 60 years old, and I love the feel of my WRX when I need to accelerate, but I don't do that that often. The car is more for young drivers that mod their cars. My biggest reason, though, for trading for the Fit is the auto tranny. Shifting 20 times to go to the local deli for milk has lost its fun factor for me.I'm looking forward to using only two pedals when I drive!

335i is 6spd, so decided to get just a regular auto for the Los Angeles traffic.

Manual is fun but I got tired of shifting in Socal traffic. Therefore, I took delivery of an Auto. However, I paddle shift my Fit whenever necessarily needed.

Peppy little Fit.
