Finally, after 4 months of waiting I have my Fit.

Finally, after 4 months of waiting, I have my new vivid blue, sport automatic, Honda Fit!

Was it worth the wait?!?!?

Yea, I guess. . . .

Sort of. I mean, don't get me wrong. It's an 'ok' car, but I'm not sure
I'd run down the street with my arms waving in the air.

I got the car for good gas mileage during the week. (Too bad gas has dropped a full dollar since i ordered. Yes, I really do wish gas was still three dollars a gallon. Maybe I'll get lucky and see it again by next summer. )
and,
I got the car to haul new HDTV's home from the Tweeter store, and make massive buys at the BJ's warehouse.

So for those three things, it does good. I'm really mad I had to wait 4 months to get my Fit. I love my Fit, but Honda sucks.

^Congrats man...but I feel you...I really wish Honda would make more for the US. I just ordered my Fit yesterday and I hope it doesn't take 4 months.

I just got mine a couple of days ago. Waited 4 months as well. I think it was worth it though. I got the car I wanted. Made no compromises on trim, tranny, or color.

That's great you got your FIT.

Enjoy. Let the fun begin.

Many others are still waiting for theirs.

Don't worry about gas prices. I predict that someday the prices will go UP again. They have a knack for doing that. And when that happens you will be READY.

And buy alot of BIG stuff this month so you can fully appreciate how capable the FIT is. That part is wonderful. Haul away.

Your wait is less than a lot of people tho. As for me...I got it 4th day it was out But w/ SF's high demand, I had to pay the upmarking.

You think it's an "okay" car but i guarantee you, you'll love it more than more. i'm actualy shocked to hear you're not impressed with the cargo space, considering you jsut hauled an HDTV. For me, the fit always continues to impress me bit by bit. I once brought 4 ppl in teh car, thinking I can't fit an all-in-one printer w/o putting a back seat down (and forcing two people to sit very close together) but the entire box, which was big, fit in the trunk w/o moving the seats.
