My airbag light on my dash is on 2007 fit I GOT THE CODES PLEASE HELP!!

Okay here is the story my car was involved in a accident and therefore the driver seat airbag and driver roof airbag was deployed.

I changed both airbags and the light didn't turn off and then i changed the airbag module under the center console. The light is still on

i went to the dealer and ask them to do a diagnostic only and they came up with these code

33-10- opening left side curtain airbag first inflator
81-64 - internal failure of ODS unit
85-64- internal failure of ODS unit (OPDS unit)

i am trying to find out what this can be because all that was replaced was the driver roof airbag, driver seat airbag and i replaced the airbag module

try unplugging the battery to reset the ecu. im sure there is a sensor somewhere that has to be replaced to.

hi did have the dealer clear the code but they said the codes appeared again and I did disconnect the battery. I have the codes listed above I am not sure what I would have to swap and check to clear the code.

I mean usually if your airbag roof gets deployed and seat airbag what other sensors you have to replace to clear the airbag light?

Okay i believe when any airbags get deployed you need to change the (SRS Cont Module , lower center dash)

I did replace that with another used srs control module from a fit that airbags weren't deployed but that didn't reset the srs light when the dealer tried clearing the code.

i m hoping there is a way to bring the original srs module back to life is there any place that can do that?

Maybe a bad wire harness. I have seen wires and connectors melt when air bags deploy. There is issues also with installing used air bag parts. Original new OEM air bag replacement parts are manditory in many parts of the world by law!!! there are reasons for that.
