What are you going to do with your Fit?

I was just wondering what everyone else had planned for the Fit. I Want to lower the car and get new wheels and tires, untill there are more interesting parts for the Fit. Even if you are just replacing a shift knob, what have you been thinking of?

I want to make my Jazz like a schaal model from Ebbro ( 1:43 )
It's the Mugen Fit model.
Here is a pic of the model ;

Mines is also vivid blue with the 'sport trim'
now i will have these ;

Exact copy of the schaal model . ( Rota C 10 )

* Next is i will have a Mugen grill and a Mugen rooftopspoiler,
but i don't know how i become the Mugen stuff ( I am from the Netherlands )
and i have not found a importeur of a dealership from Mugen.
I am still search from one.

Please define "more interesting". There already are a ton of parts out there for the Fit/Jazz.

Exclamation

Quick note: Don't count on all the JDM and EU aftermarket parts just bolting right on the N.A. version. Until all is actually said and done there doesn't seem to be any clear cut list on exactly what has been changed on the NA model and what all will "fit" from foregin market suppliers. Just don't want too much heart break going on when "supposed to work" turns into "ain't even close"...

That being said I plan on all the Honda dealer goodies I can get -
16's , grill, exterior and interior trim bits and that over priced music link cable.

On the aftermarket front -
JDM or JDM style LED clear tail lamps
and a full set of BA replacement speakers...

This is true, but look at all the other Honda models that are or have been in japan. Slight differences have been there, but nothing major. Other than the JDM DC2 R and the USDM DC2 R rear suspension setup....

Wheels and tires for sure. Konis, possibly, after a few months of driving and evaluation.

Man, you guys are really serious about modifying your Fits....

Well, here are my planned Mods if I buy an 07 Sport Fit:

1) Bi-xenon Hid Retrofit
2) Replace OEM rubber with High Performance Tires
3) Use more aggresive front brake pads
4) Honda Sport Grill
5) Honda Rear Bumper Appliqué
6) Make the Fog Lights Yellow (either change the bulb or add a yellow cover)

Mods that I would like to do (depending on availability and fit issues):
1) Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror w/homelink and map lights
2) JDM/UK Roof Mounted Console Storage Thingy
3) Replace passenger side visor with UK/JDM visor to add vanity mirror
4) Replace rear tails with JDM LED or knockoff LED equivalent.

Thumbs down Might as well re-name this thread to: How much rice are you throwing into it?

I mean, come on guys and gals, it's your money but this is just a stylish econobox/grocery getter

I would love to see the total $$ spent on parts AND labour, anyone? So we can rightfully give out the "2006 Fit Freak Rice of the Year Award"®

This car (Storm Silver Sport) is for my wife, and we plan to just get in, sit down, shut up, and hold on. 30k miles later, Nokian WR tyres go on it. That is all.

I don't see any of these mods as being rice. No stickers, neons, huge wings, unpainted body kits, loud fart can exhausts, etc... JDM mods are not rice, just because its from Japan, they are just mods.

The Fit will be for my wife too, but I plan on doing a few things to it.

Spoon air filter
J's Racing 50RS exhaust (maybe, depends on the noise level, J's 60RS for the S2000 is extremely quiet, almost like stock, compared to other aftermarket exhausts)
Coilovers
16" Volk CE28N (Titanium Silver) wheels
Mugen HID headlights
Mugen or JDM OEM tail lights
Yellow bulbs for foglights
Spoon antenna
Speakers
Tint

Different stroke for different folks.
If you don't agree with the idea that people want to mod THEIR Fit to suit THEIR tastes then shut up. Sure, I think some people might be taking it a bit far since the Fit is an econobox, but I'm not going to flap my trap and tell people they're stupid because of it.
