i just bought the o7 fit white. my 16 yr old son has decided it will be his soon ,so under his guidance here is what i have done, albeit reluctantly.
window tint 20%, k&n intake s.r.i.,megan racing header,megan racing axle-back. i feel a lil silly driving this to work i am 40 yrs. old. but on the other hand i must say adding mods. is fun and actually makes the car fun to drive, i may not let it go to my son when all is said and 'done" lol. have fun with it people it is turning into a hobby for me. something to look forward to every weekend-a new mod!

heh, you've got the bug. Keep up with it long enough, and you're going to end up making recommendations to your son instead. And age has nothing to do with it either, only that you're having fun, enjoying the hobby, and learning someting new as you go along.

Well, wouldn't you know it I ended up having some rub on the new tires when I am hauling around more than a few people, had to remedy that with some nice new stiffer Tanabe sport springs

Ok, OK, I have pretty much accepted my fate
Here is a short list of my future.... uh needs... yeah thats it

-Injen CAI
-Performance Rad & High Flow Water Pump
-Cheap Piggy back system to change the fuel mapping a touch
-T1R header
-HKS Exhuast system
-Mugen Rear Bumper
-Spoon Throttle Body
-Rear Strut Bar

My goal, the worlds fastest go-cart!
Oh man, looking back at my silly little list I didn't follow it at all! .... Wait... WOOT! T1R Header!!!

Yeah everytime I get a new car "Ok, this time I gotta just drive it and stop spending money on stuff"... and yet everytime a few months later I find myself dumping WAY more money than I should be on it It's a curse... and a blessing

I blacked out my foggies with satin paint and black LaminX. Don't have any pics of it yet, but it looks sick. Here is a pic of Illusives ride with his blacked out foggies.

Just got my fit and planning on just getting a mild drop with a nice wheels in the future just to improve the look. I think that adding IHE right now is a bit pointless for an engine with barely over 100 horsepower. I'm waiting for the k-series to go mainstream on the fits before breaking my piggybank.

definitely:
Toyo RA1 in 205/50/15
Motul RBF600
Ferodo DS2500 pads, if they exist in this aplication
Amsoil ATF (yes sir, AUTOMATIC Transmission Fluid for an AUTOMATIC)

maybe, but probably not:
SS brake lines
rear sway bar
assorted chassis bracing
Enkei RPF1, in 15" b/c 9.5 lbs/wheel is ridiculous

track time, autox, oil changes - because the Fit is Go! and cheaper than my other car for track time training.

07 VBP Fit Sport AT
T1R Springs
Mugen MF8
Retrofit Hid's

Possibly looking into I/H/E, coilovers and suspension. Just keep it clean and simple with a few mods.

I'm pretty much done with adding things to the car that it didn't realy need.... The only thing left is wrapping the HFP wheels I have downstairs with some new tires and slapping them on in the spring. I'd really like to get one of the nifty looking body kits that are available for the Fit, but the winter weather around here would probably eat through it pretty quick.

Preach on fellow Fit owner. I can't leave anything alone.....especially such a neat car like the Fit.

I'm planning on letting my wife have it for the summer so she can drive the baby around since the baby seat won't fit in her VW beetle.

What's allready done is complete custom sound system. (4 1/2" components where the little windows were, 6.5 midbass drivers in the doors and a 13" sub in the back. Tein Basic Coilovers and 16" Konig Heliums in bronze with 205-40-16 Toyo T1R's and a Skunk 2 SS kit and Injen CAI.

simple yet effective, both economicaly and practicaly

this stuff should all be on by the time my birfday rolls around;
  1. Skunk2 Racing lowering springs = better handling
  2. JDM center console w/arm rest = FTW
  3. Mugen quick shifter = smoother acceleration
  4. JDM window visors = better ventilation and security with windows cracked during summer
  5. SilverStar ULTRA headlight bulbs = WTF
  6. JDM led red/smoke tails = have better light output, response, & power consumption
  7. Spoon Sports short antenna = less is more
  8. JDM coin holder = just to fill that blank little plastic void
total = $1500 more or less

*edit:
i changed my mind on the JDM window visors. initially, i didn't like any visors at all (i thought they looked too ricey). but figured they would be nice for parking in the sun, so i wanted the JDM ones cuz they were the most plain w/o sticking out so much. but then after seeing a few pix of some NBPs with dark ass tint all around and the Mugen visors, i feel as though they look the cleanest with how the body lines flow when the whole ride matches in color like that.

*edit: instead of the mugen quick shifter, i'm a stick with the Skunk2 SS adapter kit i have already, since it sits higher. that way my hand can get to it quicker from the wheel. but, i'm a use the H-Fit hard mount kit with it instead of keeping the stock rubber bushings on the assembly bracket, for it be more "crisp" er, solid.

*bonus: OH! and instead of the Spoon Sports short antenna, i found out that there's an antenna delete for free from the dealership that already comes on the car during shipment!

these should all be on by the time the 09s go on sale;
  1. H-Fit super sucka intake = i read nothing but good things
  2. Mugen Header = need i say more?
  3. Megan Racing mid pipe = i have to get a Megan part in there somewhere since that's my grrlz name... gotta reprazent fo da ho ya know.
total = $1000 give or take

and the rest should be on by this time next year;
  1. Mugen style CF grill = gets rid of that big ass H for more air flow into the engine compartment
  2. Mugen style CF hood = better engine bay ventilation
  3. Mugen style CF wing = more lighter
  4. DC5 rear badge = more special
total = $1000 or somewhere around there

then if i get bored before i pay her off early;
  1. Mugen style CF lip kit = to complete the Mugen style CF make over
  2. JDM luggage box = pure genius
  3. CF hatch = is there such thing as too much CF?
  4. Mugen tower bars = i'd have to be really bored
  5. JDM roof console = one can never have enough stash spots
  6. JDM map lights = is there such thing as too much JDM?
total = $2000 or close to it
