Lowering my Fit

Lowering my Fit
I did search but could not find this detail
I'd like to lower my Stock Fit Sport for better Eco and looks.
I this a matter of new springs?
Do you have to get the car re aligned when you do this?
Based on my goals, any suggested parts (Vendor and part numbers) and how much should I lower it?
thanks in advance

you will need new springs and shocks, there are several kits out there already (check out the suspension fourm)
anytime you change the ride height of a vehicle you must align it,
in our case you will only need to do the front end, as the rear is a solid axle, which is not affected with ride height change,
i do not know if you will need a camber kit,
some one that has lowered the car will know
sometimes when you lower, you are unable to bring the car back into alignment with the stock adjments, a camber kit allows you to align the car

had the skunk2 springs. great drop and made the car look great. now im on skunk2 coilovers. awesome product. if you're going for looks, go with springs. if you are into spirited driving, get coilovers.
